Drukalfar: Summon more powerful Shadow Beasts.Dice: 11-3=8 (water distortion)Alfred: Search for the elevator.Dice: 14TricMagic: Ponder over the speaking halo.Dice: N/A
Drukalfar sends another pack of more powerful shadow beings in the direction of the mysterious flowing sound. The pack moves for a little while, and encounters a giant school of tiny calamari as the source of the noise. They all swim and create a giant whirl that makes the flowing sound. They dont stop their act, nor do they react to the intruders and do their collective dance ceaselessly. They seem to be moving around a long spiky vine that reaches all the way to the oceans surface, all its length undulating. one beast tries catching a squid from the swarm. It fails to do so, but that much offense is enough.
The vine ceases to undulate. With a single single swinging motion from the vine, the cephalopod school instantly retaliates, lunging on the beasts and tearing them apart in seconds like shrapanel from an explosion.
Alfred turns to take his first venture to the sea, and the halo say,
"This is the worst day of your life for now. You saw nothing yet. You will have to meet my brothers to be able to say that for real."But Alfred doesn't hears this boast, for he is already a good 20 meters away, staring at the navy depths beyond and the shadows of the numerous fish creating mirages in the water, while squishing his toes in seafloor silt. The sensation disgusts him, but he ignores it. The lego girl took his shoes and socks also, only his down-underwear remained with him. Curse her.
It doesn't take long at all for Alfred to find an exit. Well, a form of it. It is a chain made of... something, along with a wood sign next to it that says;
''Elevator glitches out of the map when it starts moving on from a place denser than air. I tried everything. This chain leads to the elevator up on surface. I am so sorry.

''
The writing is made of some kind of green plant dye, and the chain feels like metal to touch and its length reaches all over to the sea surface, as it is implied. Alfred signs, he will have to return to the elevator to tell the others.
Meanwhile, Tric is suspicious. Very suspicious. The being with the green halo is still around, doing nothing in particular. What can be its purpose? What does it seek? What goals does it have? Is it the thing that built the pyramids?
He doesn't know. This thing, whatever it is, is nothing like what he has seen before. It also gives no hint of what its true nature even is.
He will try to though. Skylink is for such occasions after all.
Silicon stares at his screen, the one screen that he has seen a billion times. He knows that the forumite has hacked into his control systems. He also knows that he won't learn much from this intrusion, this system was created by a forumite god that dissapeared so long ago that even he doesn't remembers his name. It is almost impenetrable. Almost. It crashes on him sometimes, but its no big deal. But its nice to have something different after all this time of mindlessly observing and cataloguing the potatokin evolving into similar, convergent forms on different floors and watching microreality engines of floors degenerate, dooming the floor they render into oblivion.
It's boring to be stuck in a single, small room with a screen for what it feels like an eternity or two. Why not have some...

The halo, along with the creature turn back to Tric trying to get into the inner workings of the mysterious thing. Tric can tell that he has been found out. But the halo doesn't seem to be angry. It sounds quite amused, in fact:
"You know, if you wanted to have answers, you could've asked."
Alfred has found the exit. The swarm of squid seem to be uncaring of you beyond defending themselves. They had plenty of time to attack.
What Do You Do?
