Jack goes on the attack. [9 vs 6-2] He sinks his meathooks around Slippery Pete's throat, and begins choking the life out of him.

Pete, in pure desperation, kicks at the splinter shard in Jack's leg again. [5 vs 6 ] Pete's knee attack hits solid flesh again, barely doing anything.

If Pete doesn't break the choke at the end of 2 more turns, he will go unconscious, and be unable to defend himself.

You are at 41 HP. You are choking. You can no longer make dodge rolls. Resisting suffocation requires CONSTITUTION, and breaking out of the choke requires STRENGTH, or a critical damage roll with a strike.

[3] It's hard to notice anything about your opponent while the world is going black.

You are at 67 HP. If you want to continue with the suffocation, you need to choke as an attack each turn. Doing anything else with your hands removes the suffocation state.

The wound in your leg continues to bleed.

 [5] You notice a...wetness? Pooling on top of your left leg. It's not your blood...this fucker is bleeding from the leg wound!

Pete, determined to get out, attempts to knee Jack in the groin with what little space he has to work with [11 vs 8(!)]. The dude's groin is made of iron, unfortunately, and while there is damage, it looks like Jack barely feels it. In all actuality, Pete's knee might have come off the worse for it.

Jack attempts to continue the choke, while Pete struggles to get out of it [7 vs 6(!)]. Pete is not able to get out of the choke, completely, but in his desperation, manages to claw his fingernails down Jack's left arm.

Jack, seemingly undeterred, sinks in the choke further [5 vs 2-2]. There is an audible sound as Pete's windpipe starts breaking.

One more turn until Pete is unconscious.

[5] You can tell that you gouging your opponent's left arm is an opening. If you succeed at worsening the wounds, his left hand won't be able to maintain its grip, and choke ends.

Welp this is my final chance put all my effort into gouging his arm nothing else matters at this point also attempt to worsen that leg wound with a wild kick if possible although not as high priority as getting him to let the fuck go of me so uh yeah time to hope I DODGE!!!! death.

[6] Every last neuron in your brain is firing, desperately searching for any advantage to keep you alive. You only have -1 to defensive rolls from the pain now.

 [5] You can see that your opponent is grasping at every last straw in order to stay alive, to the point that pain probably isn't even affecting their judgement.

You also realize that if they dig into the wound on your left hand, they can break your choke hold. And by now, they must have noticed that your leg is bleeding out.

Pete [4 vs 4], with the last of his energy, jams his thumb into the slightly open wound on Jack's left arm. The wound isn't deep, barely does any damage in the grand scheme of things. But it hurts, and Jack reflexively jerks his left hand up, breaking the choke!

In the time that the choke is loosened, Pete is able to take something resembling a breath, resetting the time until unconsiousness.

Jack still has his right hand hold, and is maintaining the grapple. Jack tries to reset the choke with both hands [4 vs 5]. Jack isn't able to sink it in, although the grip from his right hand alone is clearly hurting Pete's throat. 

Both fighters are still prone.
