808 NWE, Spring
You receive a letter from Count Levipro, from the northwest of Rug.
In the letter, he reports that a group of travelers from 'the land of Perun' and one of them is called apparently a Prince. Apparently, these travelers are looking for King of Rug because you and their monarch have common enemy in Fomorians. According to the travelers' words, Perun lies beyond the northern mountains, behind a valley of lakes and across a gorge so deep its bottom cannot be discerned.
During a meeting, the Advisor states the obvious.
"Sire, never before in our lore has there been any mention of the land of Perun." The Spymaster rubs his beard thoughtfully.
"I could ask my sources in the west to ascertain whether their traders and adventurers know of the Perun." The Marshal scoffs.
"Nonsense! These are charlatans, trying to swindle something from our good King under pretense of being some 'foreign' nobility! We ought to dungeon them immediately as example to other schemers!"
The argument goes for a while but ultimately you need to reach a decision...
A) Count Levipro must turn them away.
B) Have Count Levipro accomodate the guests while Spymaster gathers information of this 'land of the Perun'.
C) These are joyous news! We shall make history by establishing ties with this new, unknown land and its peoples.
D) To the dungeon with them! I'm sure Count Levipro's can fit them all.
