"Grasp that Bunger, Star Fiber."

[Bunger and Star Fiber destroyed.]"A facedown of your own then.. I wonder what it does?" (I already know, and  a bit of an annoying card for Hikari. She really should have put more Yellow Wisps in this deck, but she wouldn't know that.)

Hikari Yagami, The Light
Hand: 5
Deck: 9(didn't count down last turn.)
Hearts: 20
Stars: 0

Field:
Facedown Card 1 ?
Guiding Light: 0/1

Discard Pile: Grasping Star Fiber, 'The Light' Gumdrop Guard Dog(7/7), Star Fiber
Banished: Grasping Star Fiber

(Wait, I'm really out of it. That card can't be played facedown. It's the other one. But you didn't declare it could be attacked.)

((Yeah sorry, I messed up there. I edited my turn and you can redo yours if you want. Kinda an issue with NPC players though. If it's two regular players and one makes that mistake than when the GM calls them out the other player still doesn't know what attacking the card will do, at least until the second time the card is played.))

((Yeah sorry, I messed up there. I edited my turn and you can redo yours if you want but like, well, that's kind of an example of the problem with NPC players. Even if the character doesn't know what a card does, the player behind it can, so they know exactly how to deal with it. And the GM knows all the cards))
(No reason to redo it. Also, I am just now noticing that Guiding Light gains the stats. So in this case once it loses them it would just die from lost Hearts in most cases.)

Linas cheeks swell cartoonishy as she continues to drain the plate of spaghetti with one continuous slurp. As she finishes the unreasonably long noodle she joins it with a bite from another burger.

She plays another Bunger

Then flips her face-down card

Before feeding the Bunger to another Gumdrop

then ending her turn.

(Yep, that's the combo. Goes to show that even though I make the cards, don't put much thought into using them. 1 problem though.)

"Right, that's actually a pretty good combo. That stat gain is a permanent effect. Hope you don't mind if I Clear it up." her card flips.

"Clear's light will negate all effects and permanent effects like stat boosts. Until the turn ends anyway."

"Not that you have that time. My Yellow Wisp attacks your Gumdrop."

A hand goes to Lina's chin and she nods, stuffing the remains of the burger into her mouth.

She plays another Bunger

Then ends her turn.

(Lot of Burgers. And Bungers, but that wall is just a good card.)

draws. "Right, now might be a good time for a Deck Crash. Here's hoping."

"Let it shine through, Thorny Will!"

Discarded. Draw 5

She looks at her hand. "Not the best outcome, but it's down to luck. I play a Yellow Wisp and attack your Bunger."

Hikari Yagami, The Light
Hand: 4
Deck: 2
Hearts: 20
Stars: 0

Field:
Guiding Light: 0/1

Discard Pile: Grasping Star Fiber, 'The Light' Gumdrop Guard Dog(7/7), Star Fiber, Clear, Yellow Wisp(3/1), Guiding Light, Guiding Light, Epiphany, Grasping Star Fiber, Yellow Wisp, Thorny Will, Yellow Wisp(3/1)
Banished: Grasping Star Fiber

(You don't need to show the effects, but the names are going. Though for secrecy, go ahead. Don't mind knowing if I hit your EV-Card, but letting you get another gumdrop going is not in her interests.)
(You might recognize this card as the one she picked up earlier. Gary seems to have declined a purified card, but Hikari didn't. One guess why the Good Doctor is doing this.)

Lina's eyes... don't widen, because they don't even open, but her mouth hangs open. Until she closes it and swallows at least.

Lina discards two Gumdrop Guard Dogs, a Pasta Pioneer, and a Saucesquatch.

Then she draws another five, and nods as she looks over her hand, before drawing her card for the turn. She smiles, as she plays a Bunger

"I attack your Saucesquatch. I am glad I managed to remove those gumdrops though. That could have really messed me up." she says while smiling.

Lina draws a card

"Mmhmm, mhm!" She hums out while nodding.

Lina plays a Gumdrop Guard Dog and removes the Bunger

"That's why I brought five of each!"

"This is going to hurt isn't it?" She plays a facedown card. 1 guess what it is.
(In other news, empty deck time.)

Lina draws her last card.

"Now I play another Pioneer!"

Lina says as she does so

"And it attacks your Star Fiber, they both get destroyed!"

The Light Clears. And the Guiding Light falls regardless. (I kept treating it as a copy effect, but it's a gain effect. Not too much difference between the two.)

"Well, this isn't good."

"Really should have used more of these... I flip Clear, and have my Yellow Wisp attack your Gumdrop." [Both Destroyed]

Hand: 2
Deck: Empty
Hearts: 20
Stars: 0

Field: Empty

Banished: Grasping Star Fiber

(At the moment, all she can hope for in this particular duel is you not having any attack cards left.)
