Day 2 - CYOGTCG Art
You proceed on to your final class of the day. CYOGTCG Art. The room is adorned with art in all forms. Sculptures, paintings, photographs, one wall seems to be lined with records and CDs, while scattered about you can see papers with writing on them, short stories and poems. And sat at the front of the class is a gentle looking individual. Their overall physique is hard to make out beneath their baggy clothes as they focus on their painting. As you take your seats, they pause, and turn around.
"Hello everybody, you can call me Reece." They introduce themself with a kind smile. "And I'll be your art teacher while you're here."
Today in Art class, you learn the importance of art when making a card. The art practically, though not quite entirely, defines whether or not a card fits your theme. By using just the right card art, alongside other things, you can take something that doesn't really fit your theme and work it in like it belongs. That isn't the only thing you learn though, as you also learn a new mechanic of the game as always.
Specifically, you learn about Tokens. Tokens are additional, extra cards that aren't in your deck normally, but rather are created by the effect of another card. While the primary use of the Token mechanic is creating additional Units, usually groups of weak ones, it can do other things as well, such as making individual strong extra units, providing you with additional 'Spells', or making alternative 'forms' for one unit.
In order to specify that a card does have a Token, you must make additional Card Images for the card. A card can have up to 4 unique types of token, but only particularly high-cost cards will ever create more than 2 different kinds of token at the same time.
You may now make cards with Tokens
