Yes it is.

Fun fact: throughout the 20th century Epsilon Eridani has been theorized as a likely place for both extra-terrestrial life and earth-like planets, appearing in ]science fiction and scientific inquiry alike. We now know that it likely doesn't have Earth-like planets, instead having a gas giant and 2 asteroid belts.

Sorry for the derail, but that bit is not true. Earth-like planets are much harder to detect than gas giants. It is quite likely that Epsilon Eridani has additional, smaller planets that we haven't discovered yet.
