I wouldn't say "type", no. However, not all maps show it specifically.

Edit:

Is this list corect?

1. Non-fictional (but may be present in works of fiction).
2. Intangible
3. Non-religious (but may have religious significance in some places).
4. Not an emotion.
5. In one sense humans are required for it to exist, but not in another.
6. It is not consciousness.
7. It is not involved with problem solving and/or pattern recognition.
8. It may, perhaps, not be considered a good thing.
9. Animals might (or might not) be able to experience it.
10. It is a natural occurrence.
11. It’s definition is (to an extent) arbitrary and not meaningful without humans to define it as such.
12. It is not something that we defined as something that only humans can do despite not knowing whether other animals can have it.
13. It is not an Action.
14. It is not an event.
15. It is something people experience everyday.
16. It is possible to die as an indirect result of unexpectedly ceasing to experience it.
17. Only one person is required for it to happen.
18. We do not need to reconsider our foundational assumptions.
19. It can exist outside of a brain.
20. It may be associated with death in some cultures.
21. It is not a “life process”.
22. In a certain context, and from a certain point of view, it is something people do for fun.
23. It is not a biological process.
24. It is a natural thing that isn’t caused by humans or animals.
25. It is not directly measured by any SI unit of measure.
26. Plants are not required for it to happen.
27. One would not normally say that it “happens”.
28. It is something that occurs constantly (though “occurs” may not be the right word).
29. It is something that both a rock and a duck can “do” (but one is substantially more likely to “do” it than the other).
30. It is not “being alive”.
31. It has something to do with weather.
32. King Zultan will regret asking something so nonspecific.
33. It is not the state of existing.
34. It is not existence.
35. It is not wind.
36. It is not breathing.
37. It may (loosely) “involve” water.
38. There are locations where this can’t happen.
39. One would use an adjective to describe something as having it.
40. Arctic areas are not areas where it can’t happen.
41. It isn’t warmth.
42. It is related (possibly extremely loosely) to temperature.
43. Rainforests are not places where it can’t happen (at least not on Earth).
44. Humans actively seek it out and, in the past, a lot of effort has been put into finding as much of it as possible.
45. It is not beauty.
46. It is not a gas.
47. Everything is related to everything else.
48. It is, probably, not related to food and drink.
49. Humans do not commonly trade it for things.
50. It cannot be put inside a container.
51. It is not a temperature.
52. Humans have fought wars over it (in at least one major sense).
53. It is not a form of energy.
54. It’s not something that can just happen and stop happening.  It’s tied to a specific set of preconditions and, if those preconditions stopped applying, then people would notice.
55. Humans have fought wars over it in the military sense.
56. A military conflict was fought over it in at least a couple major senses prior to 2000 CE.
57. A military conflict was fought over after 1000 CE.
58. It can be interpreted as territory.
59. A military conflict might have been fought over it after 1500 CE.
60. It can be interpreted as an area of land, but it wouldn’t normally be.
61. It is a place that, in some ways, is still being fought over.
62. Maximum Spin refuses to say whether a military conflict was fought over it after 1750 CE and wants me to come up with better questions.
63. It would not be considered to be within the realm of neuropsychology.
64. It is something that an ordinary person would experience on a daily basis.
65. Some people go to it often.
66. Some places that can be called this are in the Northern Hemisphere, many are not.
67. It is not a specific place.
68. It is not exactly a place, at all.
69. The average person would know what it was if they experienced or went to it.
70. In most cases, I would not experience it while in outer space while not wearing spacesuit.
71. It is not pressure.
72. It is not something you eat or drink.
73. I could not capture (some of) it in a container.
74. In the sense that it refers to a place, if he had loads of money, King Zultan could buy some of it.
75. It occurred in at least one part of the world where WWII took place.  This will not be helpful.
76. Wars have been fought over the thing in the last century, although maybe not as clearly or directly linked to the word as in past centuries.  There are definitely cases that directly involve the word though.
77. It is not ideology.
78. It is not independence.
79. It was a major reason for at least one war in the 19th century.
80. War is very incidental to the point.
81. You can find this in the US.
82. It is not a type of biome.
83. In some cases it can be very important to politics, but that isn't its natural category.
84. As we don’t know what it is, we are hopelessly lost.
85. It is not power.
86. King Zultan didn’t ask if it was a seat of power.
87. It’s not, specifically, a county or a barony or anything like that.
88. It is not a kingdom, and King Zultan is not really on the right track here.
89. It is not a capitol.
90. In a way, the average person could own some of it (but not in the simple ordinary meaning of the word).
91. It is not usually owned by a government.
92. The same name is not used to designate a landform.
93. It has a good chance of being mentioned in a conversation about geography.
94. It absolutely could be a geographical term.
95. Whether or not it borders water is meaningless in this context.
96. Depending on some interpretation, it is, possibly, a component of at least four English names for countries.
97. The word in question is not a verb.
98. It is something that’s usually marked on a map.
99. In some contexts and in some contexts, it is something that a military might be interested in for defense.
100. Maximum Spin thinks that we really like using words that can be taken more broadly than we think.
101. It does not have anything to do with water.
102. It is not a field (at least, not really).
103. It is not a fort (at least that Maximum Spin knows of).
104. It is found in the names of at least 10 municipalities.
105. It is not a hill.
106. It is not a spring.
107. It is not a valley.
108. Thinking about landscape will mislead us.
109. It is not color.
110. It is not altitude.
111. It is not longitude (though this is a lot closer to the right idea and we should look back at the previous questions from a new perspective).
112. It is not resources.
113. It is not position.
114. It is not limited to being shown on a specific type of map (though not all maps show it specifically).
115. It would, probably, be found on a political map.
116. Maximum Spin guesses that it is a specifically named thing.
117. It is not, really, used to find places on a map.
118. Theoretically, it is closely related to the concept of magnetism.
119. It is not direction.

Is it information?
