Would it fit within 10 cubic centimeters?
Yes.
Just a reminder that 10 cubic centimeters is not a 1 decimeter cube (that would be 1000 cm3). It's a cube with 2.15cm side. Or a box with one side being 1cm, the other 2cm, and the third 5cm. Or indeed a tube with diameter of 1cm and length of 13cm.

Did this exist before 1950 CE?

Is it something found in the average house?

Not sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it is.

Is it a component in a computer?

It can be.

Yes.

(Yes, I think it’ll fit in a space that small.)

No. It did not.

So it's really small, powered by electricity and made in the '70s.
And even though it is 40 years old at this point, this specific model might still conceivably be found in the average home. So probably nothing directly relating to computers.

Does it have a specific color associated with it? (fire hydrants are usually red, while integrated circuits are usually green. Dogs can be any color.)

Yes it does (although I’ll have to disagree on you as to the color of integrated circuits.  They’re actually silver/gray.  If encased in plastic, the plastic is usually black.  The green is probably solder resist on a circuit board.)
