Despite the beating he took, the Twice Dead warrior stood, his eyes going back to the man that had initially weakened him. As he dashed by the mage, Hisao probably would recall the stories about Daisuke, how contained within him was a connection to the underworld, how chains would shoot out from him to drag the souls of sinners to their final resting place as his connection to the material plain weakened. Anyone with an ounce of sense would realize it's just fanciful legends as well, but given the swordsman's status as a gnosis user, there likely would be some fact to it. A fact the Kubo man showcases as he slides to a stop in front of the group of soldiers crouches as the blood from his wounds leaks backwards, condensing into spikes as his speaks just loud enough for Hisao to hear.

"Steel Burst...!"

Impressed with how well Momo could handle herself in battle, the lad held no hesitation following up after her. Falling back, he forms another blade of wind before attempting to finish off one of the bowmen.

As Sakurako took the bowman down, Miyako took the opportunity to pass through the enemy line and split one of the horsemen from the group.

"Excellent bladework, lady! I don't think we had the time to properly introduce ourselves, what with the intrigue with Tomoe. Either way, I'm Miyako."

With that icebreaker, she felt an itch from her Gnosis, marking it almost ready to unleash its full power, but not quite. The tactical situation wasn't suitable for it anyway, so she channeled the energy into a particularly penetrating blow. A calculated risk, given the scout's mounted position, but well worth it if it paid off.

Traxesa, if he's been paying attention at all to Momo's Gnosis at all, should notice but one thing. Despite Momo using wind Mahou and abilities that are clearly Gnosis Arts, displaying power beyond any Gnosis wielder save the strongest in history....

....her Gnosis has not reacted at all, but remained completely dull and dead. Even in a situation where the Gnosis would be absorbing elemental energy, with the abundance of wind Mahou in the air.

Almost as if it were fake.
