Claiming your first HOARD was a wonderfully simple task: you flew in, landed on the most impressive-looking building around, blasted any guards in your way to vapor (regrettable), and devoured the residing baron (delicious fool). From there, you proclaimed your status as GLORIOUS LIBERATOR to the local yokels, and demanded tribute in return for your MAGNANIMOUS PROTECTION. Between your eloquent words and your reasonable tax rates, the people quickly agreed to respect your DESPOTISM!
...pity this city's just a seaside fishing town. At least you'll get plenty of seafood.
New Codhollow bustles with activity, as the people scurry to haul their loose jewelry and coinage into a heap on the smoldering mead-hall floor. You observe the proceedings from a hastily-constructed dais, nibbling lazily at a pile of fish.
It occurs to you, that perhaps this wooden hall isn't the best place to keep your valuables. You did a bit of lair scouting on your way in... maybe it's time to consider your options.
A) I saw a tunnel entrance under the ocean... it looked like it went right under the town. The water's so cold though!
B) There was that hillside cave a couple days' fly from here-- a bit far, but very cozy.
C) I could always blast a hole in the cliff over the town. Might take me a week or two, and it'd be real small at first.
D) Actually, this mead hall isn't half bad. Maybe my new underlings can fix it up for me?
