With a nod, Captain Saejik pulls down his macrobinoculars and hands them over to one of his bodyguards for safekeeping. He turns on his heel and heads down from the top of the tower, the Stormtrooper pausing to stow the delicate instrument in its carrying case before jogging to catch up to the others marching in step around the Captain. "This place is where we will act next," He decides, "They seem to have done well for themselves in such primitive conditions, but if precedent and the tales from our new allies have anything to say about it, they will doubtlessly be in dire need of medical assistance and military support."
He fires up his commlink, and directs the Renown to find a stable, geosynchronous orbit over this settlement, stowing it as he walks down the ramp and onto the forest floor, taking in his likely allies for this operation. Mira, the touchy woman in vaguely Mandalorian-esque armor, well, she'd be a good distraction for any enemies keen on close combat at least. A battle droid, possibly useful, possibly trouble. No way to know, but memories of what well-built custom battle droids could do during the Clone Wars meant he couldn't help being a bit unsettled by the thing. And what looked like, wonder of wonders, an actual, genuine, professional military man. Would the wonders never cease? Maybe this wouldn't be quite as trying as he'd feared.
"I believe we were waiting for me," Saejik states, "I'd wanted to get a look at the settlement from the top of the castle before we set out. We might not have such a good vantage point again, not without fighting some horrible local avian for it anyway. There's nothing else of note in the vicinity that makes itself apparent to visual scans, or anything else even vaguely recognizable by the scanners as technology or civilization, so I believe that wooden fortress should be our destination."
