Actually, you can't pick up constructed coffins. And if you deconstruct a "used" coffin before abandoning, it will just become empty again.

Anyway, I just found the coffin when wandering around an old fortress a long long time ago. LONG LONG time ago.

an adamantine ballista bolt. I got a good amount of laughs out of throwing something that took up 3 times as many squares as my adventurer anyway  

It was pretty good, severed whatever limb it hit every time (or chopped them in half if it hit the body). Only weighed something like 36 units too so it didn't slow you down at all.

Adamantine coins. I don't really remember them doing any more damage then regular coins but we all know throwing regular coins is buggy so that does not tell us much.

I tried throwing an adamantine serrated disk and was less then impressed. It was ok, but I was expecting it to blow them apart or chop them into multiple peices but it didn't even kill them every time.

In hindsight, running might've been the smarter option.

Because I tend to prefer playing in non-exploit mode, I like to run around with a melee weapon and two or three spears in the backpack to take out any archers that might spot me.

I did once find a masterwork bismuth bronze spear in a shop.  It was very lethal when thrown, frequently leaving targets either dead or mortally wounded.

I do love the idea of a thrown serrated disk.  It would be nice to see some form of hand-thrown weapon like a shuriken in the game (although we all know that coins do just as well)

I gave my $0.02 to a demon once. It removed his left leg and mangled it's lower body. Following that i crushed his head with his own vomit. Then an archer shot me.

Water.  I pulled it out of my waterskin and threw it at the enemies.

I usually use spears though.

Steel disks were probably the most cool to throw - instead of just instagib you would get fun injuries. Adamantine ballista bolts or spears were the most effective. The most awsome however must have been the 20 or 30 copper daggers I used as a substitute for throwing knives.

I've only just played Adventure Mode for the first time but I am -loving- it.

Is there a way of butchering corpses? It would be great to be able to cut the hearts out of people once we've killed them.
