Then she straightened up.

"Scared of the light? I'm standing still right here, come get me!"

With angry shriek of a young child, the evil boy cast his spell towards Ivy, intercepted by Casslan. The dark magic threw him at Ivy's feet.

She held out her staff towards it and begun to pray, nay, chant.

"Praise be to Umi! For Her world is filled with bountiful splendor! The Ender of Evil! The Breaker of Chains! The Pearlescent Protector of Humanity! Praise be to the Silver Goddess! For no sin is hidden before Her eyes and no act of goodliness is without Her smile! Praise! Praise! Praise! So your conscience may be as bright as marble! PRAISE!"

When the bright light of the healing staff engulfed the evil child, he let out a pain-filled, inhuman shriek!

So that was the secret then - now they just had to keep the apparition off Alixia. She figured Casslan had better feel the same way about it, because, well...

"Some power. You're not even powerful enough to make it through him. And now you cower from a priestess."

Ivy lowered her hand, her magic flickering out, circling just in front of Casslan to stand next to Alixia.

"Before you perish, try to actually hit me!"

11-4, unequip Photon, taunt Evil Andertz Coldside.

"Hup!" It wasn't like Casslan would ever shirk his duties, therefore his shield rose once more to intercept any attacks aimed at Ivy.

[Aurorix]

Finally coming to his senses, Argos crawls up from the ground into a sitting position. The lad wakes up to a nasty headache similar to that of a migraine. Not that Argos would know how that feels since he prefers a nice cold glass of milk over any alcoholic beverage. "Man... Magic FRICKEN blows..." He grumbles to himself rubbing his forehead unaware of the almost lifeless state his body was in previously.

Gurgling and hissing in a definitely non-child way, the evil shade attacked Ivy, once again with Casslan intervening like a knight.

The evil child dissolved into nothing; only its pitiful scream was carried off into the air.

A pale, weak light came from inside of the real Andertz' shirt.

"What's this??" The countess pushed her hand into her son's shirt and pulled out a box - small, looking like a box used for jewelry. It was old-looking, and it was intricately decorated. It also looked very delicate, perhaps made of glass or some soft stone.

"Countess!" The Prince walked up to the mounted noblewoman. "Is this the box you were talking about earlier?

"Yes." She glared at the fancy box.

"I see. Well, we must be careful about-" Suddenly, the Countess tossed the box with such anger and strength against a rock jutting out of the grass that the delicate item shattered into thousands of pieces.

A tiny orb of purple light, trailing smoke, escaped. Frantically, it zig-zagged through the air, until it could no longer hold itself together, and fell apart into nothingness.

"This, this is what happens if you consort with evil magic!" She spat at the shattered remains of the ornate box.

Prince Aland said nothing, but his furrowed brows and a slight grimace clearly shown his disapproval.

Suddenly, the child in Countess' arms gasped for air and mumbled something.

"Andertz!"

"M-Mom..."

"It's okay, mom's here... it's okay..." Prince Aland turned around and walked closer to where the fight occured, inspecting the two horribly beaten up fighters.

"Argos, Casslan, are you alright?"

[SirAston]

Alixia didn't waste any time after the evil child has been dealt with and began tending to the wounds of her fellow allies.

"Already working on making them feel alright again, Prince."
