"Please hold still for a moment. That is quite the nasty-looking slash..."

"Please be careful, everyone. I can only do so much at once..."

With a gentle tap, the cut was mended.

Curiously, the shadowy soldiers only shifted their positions - as if to block the intruders from going deeper into the woods.

"W-What are they doing? They have the numbers, shouldn't they be attacking us?"

"We shouldn't underestimate them. It might be a trick." The Countess gritted her teeth.

"If they won't fight us, I shall fight them! YAAH!" The Countess rode, slashed at one of the swordsmen, and rode back - just as the collapsing body turned into a puff of black smoke.

As if in response to Argos' musing, three of the specters turned their heads and attacked Prince Aland and Countess Coldside! Fortunately, Casslan was there to protect at least one of them.
