Noticing the messenger had dismounted from her wounded pegasus, Casslan was quick to give up his own tactical advantage and give it to Adrienne instead.

"Lady Messenger! Take my place." He left the hill but not without first throwing a parting hatchet at the soldier who'd attacked him, then assuming a defensive position at the base of Lady Artaud's new spot like a watchdog, as he'd been ordered by the prince.

"Your Highness, protecting the messenger and you at the same time will be troublesome unless we take a defensive position!"

Casslan to 4, 6 after Argos moves then hatchet Deserter (A). Guard whoever's attacked by Pola.

"Come on! Is this really the best you can do?!" Argos chastises, before dramatically taking off his hood he put up five seconds ago.


"You'll need a lot more than muscle to take down THE INVOKER OF MAYHEM! Prince Aland, with me!" The boy continues to charge forward to cleave into the closest axeman available.

Scowling a little, Adrienne simply charges forward to plunge her spear into the heart of the halberd wielding soldier.

Artaud moves to 5,6, triggering her +2 Damage PS by moving more than half of her MOV before she stabs Deserter A.

"Thanks for the cover Cass!" He gives a thumbs up to his helmeted comrade. Man he looks so cool in that helmet, maybe I should invest in one.


He turns his attention to Aland's order to go into a defensive formation, "Naaah, these guys are already on their last legs! We need to push our advantage and that means... TERIAAAAA!!!" The man raises his sword up above his head before slamming it down onto the bandit.

"Your Highness, Argos needs help." As much as it pained Casslan, just hanging back with the prince wasn't the correct choice in the current situation.

"Lady Messenger, please heal me." He was already reaching for his vulnerary bottle with the same hand he threw his hatchets with, though the concoction wasn't for him.

As soon as he got side-by-side with Argos, he splashed the wounded swordsman with the healing liquid and interceded with his shield to defend him while staring down Polar.

"Make your strike count, ruffian."

After being healed by Adrienne, Casslan moves to to 3, 7, heals Argos with a Vulnerary then Guards him.

Seeing her chance to seek her vengeance now that the soldier was all alone, Adrienn almost snarled as she darted around the soldier's spear, and attempted to plunge her own straight into the man's chest.
Adrienn attacks the Deserter with her slim spear, and hopefully demonstrates that girth doesn't matter.

"Lacking, all of you scum." Yet another hatchet in hand, the bodyguard made his contempt known.

This wouldn't be the day were Casslan would make a sacrifice worth the Blackfield manor's hallowed burial grounds.

Guard Aland. In case Adrienne misses, Hatchet the Deserter to finish the map already, unless she can just keep trying to kill him via stabbings over and over in which case let her do her thing.

When the lance struck through his helmet's visor, things inside made a 'squirch', if that's even a noise.

But it was wet and unpleasant.

Carefully stepping over the corpses, Aland made his way to Adrienne's hill.

"Are you Lady Adrienne? I'm Prince Aland, have you been to Ironclaw? What is happening there? Why is my brother Cymon not sending any news??"

Taking one deep breath after another to try and steady her nerves, Adrienne slowly but surely pulls her spear free from the dead man's chest, letting him slump down to the ground. Before she firmly planted the butt of her spear on the cold hard ground, and gave the prince a well practiced bow.
: "Yes my prince, I was sent to inform the King about the Khernellian army's unprovoked assault on Fort Ironclaw, and of.... Prince Cymon's untimely death against the besieging forces."
