Flint's jaw left a deep imprint in the leather as the town surgeon rooted around in his innards. As unpleasant as the ordeal was, stitching the shallow wound caused by his plate sure beat having a going all the way through from bullet. Speaking of, if he was gonna keep this sheriff gig, he'dneed to upgrade his armament. The old varmint pistol just won't cut it.

Purchase and equip a Rev 1869, and put all five points into Hit.

Aleister Quiade itches for a fight, it seems.

The good townsfolk hide away from the potential carnage as the man's eyes look around...

A blow to the Quades no doubt. . . Tombstone, that dour soul was the hitman they needed to keep their 'business' running smoothly. And they themselves were in the dirt. Aleister weren't no kind of man to shed a tear, no beat on a woman out of frustration. No, the older gentleman knew it was up to him to right this wrong and keep his family name on the top. "Can't be too hasty now." He thought, gazing through frosted glass as Flint made their final rounds through the dusty town.

"It's could be allies we've gotta clean up first." He adds, knocking the ashes off a cigar. Across the table, he sets his stony gaze toward the members of his posse, but Aleister is the first to feel the cold grip of his pistol. "Who else's new in town?" He asks matter of factly.

"Well boss, there's that hearty feller. Sposedly just lookin' fer work. Jack I think're name is." One toady answered.

"Strong like a damn donkey, I heard." Another voice added.

The well-dressed Quade took another puff, and let the name linger on his mind for a few moments. Before that wheezy voice rang through, "Guess I'm needing to pay Mister Mule a visit."


It wasn't long, ten paces away, hidden from the main street they were. Aleister Quade and Jack the Mule across from one another, their hands at their sides, itching. "I'll give you one last chance." The gentleman spoke, "Work for me. Or work for the Devil in hell."

"So you are a reasonable man." Aleister spoke with resounding hiss, he was unmoving and statue-like. "I respect a man who'll do anything for cash, since I can always trust not to trust ya." The heir to the Quades didn't take a single step forward, instead he added, " But I don't go blowing my load all at once, five dollars now. And five when you've done the job. If not. . ." The older feller's voice trails off, his left hand makes the slightest twitch, Aleister Quade seems like he ain't one to negotiate.
