"Dance Mata Hari!"

"Capture the heart of the Paladin Illuminator my beautiful dancer, show it the light!"
The two of them both take one damage, and Odelia takes control of the Illuminator

"Now, my soldier, end their triceratops in the name of your queen!"
The triceratops takes one damage, and the Soldier takes 2 due to its effect.

"And finally, as I end my turn, Illuminator, reveal Reptile to the world and grow your power!"

Reptile attacks Heroic Spirit: Mata Hari, destroying it!

Brisk then plays... Clutch of Eggs!


This creates two 1/1 copies of Reptile!


Brisk activates both of their damage abilities!
French Soldier (100 Years War) will now take 1 damage each turn!
Fallen Paladin will now take 1 damage each turn!

"I sssuppossse I better keep them face-up."

It is now Diance's turn.

(as much as I hate to put off my turn for even longer after I've spent all day solely on finishing up the event in FGO before it ends, but I have to ask: since it says "enters combat" that means the effect happens before damage does, right?)

It would technically occur before damage, but it would not prevent damage from the attack.
