Rulao frowns for a moment, "If you thought you were gonna get some kinda serious competition when today's my first freakin' day. I dunno what to tell ya." Rulao's abrasive voice wheezes through.

He draws a card, not expecting much.

"Ain't like I had a chance to make more than three." He adds, looking over the crusteaceans in his hand, "And they sure as shit ain't too monsterous like that ball thingy said. Dunno what gives."

As he speaks, he places his hand down, and gestures the fingers as if to say, 'Come finish me off.' Ending his turn.

Willow plays Witch Hunt!



Willow gains 2 Stars and draws 2 Cards! A witch is created in Odelia's discard pile!

Odelia plays Fallen Paladin, dealing one damage to the Cat.

"I now De-Clare an attack on your Fallen Paladin with my Dragon Tooth Warriors, destroying both of them."

'Now we shall see, will she leave my Paladin intact, or reveal a new card?

... or use Gandr, if she has it.'

Odelia plays Magic Circuits on the Fallen Paladin, raising it from a 2/2 to a 3/3 and gaining her another Star

"And with that I De-Clare an attack on your Iguana with my Fallen Paladin, destroying it and leaving the Fallen Paladin with one heart."

'And thanks to its effect, her Cat cannot finish off the Paladin either.'

Willow snidely remarks. "Au contraire, my card's effect triggers 'When this attacks'. But the cat wasn't the one that attacked in this situation was it? Thus, the Paladin takes the full three hearts!"

Willow draws a card...

Willow then plays Leeches!

This creates two Leech tokens!

Willow's Iguana then attacks Odelia directly to deal 2 hearts of damage!

(( Don't mean to pry, maybe I misunderstood. But didn't Odelia attack the Iguana with her Paladin, and not the cat? She was just stating that the cat could not destroy the 3/1 paladin if it chooses to attack it. At least, that's what I got from it.))

The cat's effect doesn't activate if you attack the cat.

Since you attacked the cat the effect wouldn't activate and your card would be dead.))

(I didn't attack the cat though. I attacked the iguana. So the iguana is destroyed and thus can't deal any damage to me, meanwhile the Cat can't do anything because it cannot kill while attacking.)
