(I think stolen cards do indeed go to the discard of the player who controlled it at the time of its destruction, but if you are referring to Apprentice Necromancer, then that card explicitly stated that it goes to your own discard on destruction so it can't be used as the precedent.)

And that was it. There were literally two cards she could draw this turn that would allow her to make it through this situation. She had to draw one of them, and she only had a few turns to do it.
