[Devastator]

Suzy is kind of surprised by the hostility, and attempts to change the subject.

"So.. Stride Blade, was it?  How did you end up to be here?"

[Egan_BW]

"Been lots of places. I am a means of transportation, after all. Been bought and traded, outlived most of the ones who've held me... Was in storage for a few years on that needle, guess the people there didn't have much use for me till now."

[Devastator]

"Could you please tell me about one of them?  I haven't been anywhere but my home colony.."

[Egan_BW]

"You saw the needle, right? Most places people live are like that, really. Places where people don't live, you could get anything really. One who held me was a bear, and we came across a patch of green stuff, nasty, corrosive. Thought it would only be a wall of the stuff and we'd get to the other side, turns it it was a moon. Took a couple months to walk through the whole thing."

[Devastator]

"A moon made of nasty green stuff? .. What were you doing there?"

[Egan_BW]

"Getting to the other side."

[Devastator]

"Hah."

"What's a bear?"

[Egan_BW]

"Basically the same as you, being a mammal. Lot bigger though, and hairier. And with bigger teeth, and claws, and it could probably take your arm off."

[Devastator]

At that point the tiny kitten chirps in.

"I wouldn't be worried about that.  Suzy's more than strong enough to blast any big hairy mammals.  And she's got me on her side, so it'd be two on one."

[Egan_BW]

"Haha! That's without taking weapons into account. Remember, they're just as smart as you, so any kind of advantage you might find they could find something like it, too. And a bigger creature can carry more firepower, such as me.
Well, it's probably not worth picking a fight anyways."

“No, No no, It is definitely worth it to pick a fight, Once it’s dead, Think of all the genes to be collected and plundered, Imagine having the vitality and strength of that bear while still keeping your normal appearance, And that’s only the beginning of what can be done.” Lucca develops into a manic rambling explanation.

[Devastator]

"Yeah?  Hey Suzy, this sword thinks you can't carry it.  You feeling up for it?"

Suzy smiles a bit.  "Sure, lets see how this goes"

..at that, she walks up and picks up the two meter long sword.  It's tricky for her to actually draw it, the sword being much longer than she is tall, but there's no apparently difficulty holding it in two hands.

..as she tries to swing it, though, it's clearly somewhat awkward for her, being too long, heavy enough to make balancing hard, and the hilt is too large for her hands.  She can certainly hold it, however.. something abnormal going on there.

"So what do you have to say about that?"

[Egan_BW]

"No no, don't swing. I'm not a cutting implement. Try a thrust. Just not on anything you'd rather keep intact."

[Devastator]

"Err.." Suzy says, looking around at the room full of fancy and expensive equipment, on the brand new spaceship.

.."Maybe outside?  This stuff looks expensive.."

[Egan_BW]

"I wouldn't mind going for a stroll outside."
