Can someone point me in the general area of how cards are acquired if not made? Do you like, make a card after a win? How do people shuffle decks?)

I’ll add more to this after the following questions, if we’re locked to a max of 3 health and 2 attack, how does Light Shield have 8 hearts? 3+4=7. It would make sense if for example one were allowed to have 5 hearts no attack, 5+3=8. Next question, what is Card Synergy?

A lot of this stuff is explained in the class where they function is introduced.

Only the fields with an asterisk (These things: *****) are required for the creation of a card. The other fields are optional. You can specify a precise amount of attack or hearts up to that limit, but if you leave the field blank then the card may have more than that. "Card synergy" lets you select a card that you previously created and ensure that the card you are currently making can work decently well alongside that card. If you have other questions, I recommend looking at my posts starting in "Day X - CLASSNAME" before you ask about them in-thread.

A card with a lot of hearts can be created if you can specify Attack as being 0 and list Hearts in the higher stat field.

Day 3 - After School

The school day has come to an end. It seems with all this talk about monsters there aren't any people out advertising for their clubs today. Your teacher has once again notified you that you shouldn't be walking home alone if you can help it.

Odelia's father has arranged to take Odelia home today via automobile. If for some reason she is inclined to do something else it is likely that she will need to provide an explanation about it.

Odelia looks down at her steadily growing deck with pride. Sure some cards didn't turn out quite as hoped, but they were still hers, and they would still do just as well. She was glad her father had made arrangements in advance however, she didn't exactly want to have to call Uncle Steve on short notice.

Day 3 - Still after school

Diance goes to talk to Brisk, who turns out to be willing to walk home with her... If there's something you want to discuss with Brisk, now would be a great time for that.

G3 decides to walk out the school gates alone. Maybe you should reconsider this G3? Sometimes a monster attack can be fatal you know. Its not too late to head back. Umm... Maybe you should escort another student for their sake because you seem to think you're some kind or hero or something? That's the sort of thing I need to say to convince you right? Of course I can't actually stop you from walking home alone. I'm just narrating this eh?

Meanwhile Odelia is already home. Frederick has De Clare'd that you need to study extra hard in order to make up for lost time. Odelia has the opportunity to create a card using the following template:
