Wealth Redistribution Society - A Risky Ventures Game for bank robbing terrorists

Personal Discord: https://discord.gg/aWKMjUnbtM

The desperate, the destitute, drown in an endless sea of grasping and needing. But there has always been another path for those who dare defy the masters in their ivory skyscrapers and temples of greed. That of chaos, violent robbery, illicit trades and acquisitions that run in defiance of the order imposed upon the world.

Wot this: A Risky Ventures style game for bank robbing terrorists. You start with $10,000, 1 BTC and one safehouse in a working class neighbourhood. Cash (USD) is used as spending money for everyday needs and smaller equipment. Bitcoins (BTC) are used to acquire restricted items like weapons and heavy equipment that would draw suspicion if bought normally. Safehouses are used to buy new operators.

Tag ACTACTACT for any action that the GM should notice. Maintain a list of your own assets an include it in each post. Like other Ventures game the game is lazy fairTM.

The next post will include the possible heists and the item shops. All prices are marked up severely and fluctuate wildly as the bitcoin does its roller coaster swings.

To embark, each operator needs at least a burner cellphone, and a vehicle for insertion and extraction. You can share the vehicle or bring multiple vehicles, which both increases and spreads out risk. Petrol costs will be deducted automatically.

To Sign up just declare you are playing and add 1 safehouse, $10,000 and 1.00000000 BTC to your inventory. Remember to keep your own stuff up to date and include it in each post. Add ACTACTACT to each post that includes an action that GM should note.

Do we need recruits to do heists? Also, do recruits just spawn in safehouses at no cost? What if one dies, can you get another for free?

I tried to play chess but two of my opponents were playing competitive checkers as a third person walked in with Game of Thrones in hand confused cause they thought this was the book club.

Yeah the recruits do heists. The investors sit back and watch them do it.

You kinda trade safehouses in to hire the recruit. I'm thinking of maybe allowing you to "clean" the paperwork for your last safehouse if you lose your last recruit, for a fee. Trying to balance against successful bank heists being a loot fountain.

ACTACTACT: Recruit Butch, purchase burner phone .05 BTC & Generic Stolen Sedan Car 0.45 BTC

Spoiler: Jack's Bankfiends (click to show/hide)

Proposal: A group purchases a car/van and uses said vehicle to steal enough vehicles so everyone has one.  Anyone interested?
Note: Group should probably include Michael Moov. I'm buying a car this turn, but I want Butch and not Michael Moov  :P

Turn 1

a1s, Jack’s Bankfiends, m1895 and Association of Community Environmentalists register as investors.

M1895 gives Catie a (hopefully) forever home and buys a MK18 CQBR, 2 magazines, 2000 rounds of 5.56 FMJ, a burner phone, Level 2 concealed armor, 3 Trauma Packs, a workman’s outfit, and a duffel bag.

Jack’s Bankfiends Recruits Butch and gets a burner phone and a generic Sedan car.

All prices have gone up due to falling bitcoin prices. (USDBTC fell from $37,000 to about $35,000 since last turn)

@m1895: Glad to team up!

How about we either go with:
Little druglord in sleepy village, Sleepy Suburbia Highschool
Description: A rich high-school kid is known to supply sleepy suburbia with recreational drugs. He probably buys in bulk from a cartel and sells to the rich neighborhood at a markup. There may be opportunities to intercept the supply chain, seek ransom by taking his person, friends or family members or simply find his family’s stash of cash and valuables.

OR

Rob a small business The bourgeoise, great or little, are still capitalist scum from which wealth can be redistributed from. Find a standalone petrol station or liquor store or shop of some kind and grab their things.

Your gun, my car should be sufficient for those jobs.  Might have to buy a drill or something.
EDIT: If we're really lucky, maybe we can jack the rich kid's car.  He probably has one, and is probably dumb enough to keep drugs and/or cash in it.
