Who's gonna do the Toonyman ISO?

I am. Starting a long reread now.

Sorry for the spam, I'm all caught up now.

FoU's posts haven't done anything for my read on them. Him suddenly suspecting Toony might be probing for whether he can mislynch there or if he really does have to kill him.

prefuzek needs to finish their ISO at some point.

I'm starting to feel like I don't know how to read EuchreJack. His posts are just chaos and emotion with no clear thread of thought from one day to another. I don't know what his vote for ToonyMan achieves as either alignment. I don't know what most of his posts achieve as either alignment. At some point I have to do an ISO there because I think I was town-reading him just by virtue of not being able to attribute wolf reasoning to his actions.
His argument for why he isn't a wolf is a bit scummy; if his partner is FoU then he could have been asked to post his questions in-thread to look like town, in which case he'd already have that in his head as a reason for why we should be reading him as town.
I don't think the vote on FoU means anything. It could be a partner tell for he and FoU, as Toony says. Or it could just be town Jack doing what he's told because he trusts Toony.

Kinda weird that Pref would do the ISO that Magma Mater said they were going to do INSTEAD OF the ISO that Pref said they were going to do.
Like, "did they discuss this in scumchat and get it wrong" sort of weird.

Anyways, sure Magma Mater, I'll do more in-depth pairing analysis either in a few hours or sometime tomorrow before EOD.

What I was doing, was commenting that Hedgerow was playing to survive, rather than to hunt scum, and this made them look extremely scummy.  They needed to NOT use their vote to work for a tie in this scenario, no matter what.  I voted myself, as you pointed out, to show that Town needs to lynch, even at the lost of their own life.

Yeah probably Magma. Their D1 bus is strange but I have a theory about it.

I did the Toony ISO - at least a small one - here and here.

I'm not sure, it's difficult to follow his reads. I can say that he made a couple of points against Roden that I agreed with, but other than that I don't think so.

Likely Scum Teams:
Pref/FOU - Others have explained this one
Magma/Pref - Also explained better by others
Pref/Toony - They haven't really gone at each other's throats, just sorta suspecting.  Toony's first vote doesn't count, could have been scum gambit.

Possible: Magma/FOU - I've analyzed it as not likely, but I seem to keep flip flopping on this one

Magma/Toony Possible casual interactions And normal info-seeking of teammate BUT Magma voted Toony when nobody else was then Toony placed Magma on the scum team when everyone else was saying how great Magma was playing
Toony/FOU - I don't think the D2 postings reflect this teamup
Roden/FOU - Uh, no, Roden is still voting FOU and pushing hard for it, even though it's anti-town
Pref/Roden - Didn't they fight a bit D1?
Magma/Roden - They're both POE each other now, so either really good distancing or not the team.  Magma is like literally the only one planting the idea of Roden as scum.  As a scumbuddy, Magma should just shut up and let Roden live in the townhouse alone.

Ok, that explains why I had pushed the FOU/Magma up to likely on my first draft, when before I was thinking unlikely.  4/6 think FOU, 4/6 think Magma, and Roden has linked them.
If the scum team is Pref/Magma, then their strategy is to push the team as being their partner with FOU.

This is the funniest shit I've read in this game so far.

Heh, I still think the below is funnier:

#97 - Web claims OMGUS when Toony says them not mentioning Pref could mean Web/Pref.

Their response is really defensive here. I think it could be them trying to incriminate a town!Pref with them if they're mafia. In other words Web/Pref is less likely. They use the term OMGUS incorrectly, but everybody does so kind of moot.

Alternate theory: it's a real slip, and webadict got so angry at himself for making such a basic mistake that he decided to quit mafia forever.

Since Web isn't in this game anymore, we don't get to hear Web's incredibly witty retort to Magma's joke.

This pretty much cements in my mind that it's FoU/Jack or Pref/Roden. Pref/Roden is a lot less likely in my opinion. FoU/Magma and FoU/Pref both don't make any sense to me.

I didn't promise a Magma ISO and no because Magma is town and I'm busy today. I have no idea why people are willing to vote Magma.

I only suspect Pref/Roden at this point becasue:

1. They have no significant interactions with each other.
2. Roden was extremely unwilling to vote Pref over Magma and I have no idea why still since their explanation was bad.

But everything else Roden has done has been very town and I don't think them trying to get FoU lynched today is a scum move at all.

I expect the mafiakill tonight to be either me or Roden which I guess is fine since Magma is 100% town.

Yes, I know it isn't "optimum townie play".  But you were wrong, I was right, you didn't listen to me, and now Hedgerow is dead.

Jack is surprisingly confident in their Hedgerow town read. The "I told you so" attitude comes off really bad.

Another thing I find extremely annoying is that Jack specifically has been bugging me to explain terms like TMI and POE even though I know for a fact Jack read the Championship game I was in for MU and players used those terms consistently throughout the game. Why in the world does Jack ask me what these mafia definitions are if he already knows them? The only thing I can think of is that Jack is trying to "generate content", it's a form of active-lurking you would do as mafia:

@Toonyman: What is POE? I thought it was Person of Interest, but I'm having some trouble with the concept.  Is it one person or several?
I know we're supposed to be doing it, and maybe I already am, but I'd like to know how to correctly be doing it.

Damn, maybe the scum team IS Toonyman/Roden.

Roden has forced a situation where town it GOING to lynch Magma.  I CAN'T drop my lynch of Magma because I think FOU is innocent (an idea that Toonyman planted, by the way, with saying that Toonyman and I are the same alignment).  Thus, Roden can drop their vote of FOU at the last second, and Magma gets lynched.

This SEEMED like the best move to me.  Roden's second POE was Magma, and I heavily suspected Magma.

BUT, now Toonyman is saying that Magma is 100% town.  AND is doing nothing to prevent the mislynch of Magma.  Like, I dunno, voting ME for example to prevent the above.  A 3-way tie is still a tie and a no-lynch.
