Proposal: Major Cedric Corbec and Medtronic SecurityDifficulty: NormalResult: (6+5)=11,
MasterworkCedric Corbec is a man born into a military family, and there was no question that he would be a military man himself. Corbec attended Hargrave Military Academy, attended Officers Candidate School, and joined up with the 82nd Airborne. Cedric Corbec participated in Operation Enduring Freedom in '02 as part of Task Force Panther before returning to the States briefly to complete the "Q Course" and make himself a member of the United States Army Special Services, or "Green Berets". Cedric Corbec was redeployed to the Middle East in '03, this time to Iraq, where he was awarded the Silver Star for his actions during the Battle of Debecka Pass. Corbec would continue to distinguish himself through both direct and commanding actions for the next decade, climbing the ladder to Major on the way. The Major learned that he preferred getting shot at to poring over endless tables and maps and all the bullshit politics that piled on as one collected more promotions.
Major Corbec was on the runway at Baghdad International Airport in 2013 preparing to board a military plane back to the states for some time off when a pair of rockets were fired at the airport. While damage was minimal, Corbec was unfortunate enough to be hit by shrapnel and lost most of the sight out of his left eye, among other various face-scarring injuries. He was granted an Honorable Discharge for his service, and while he was recovering in a hospital, the president decided his actions for the Silver Star were more worthy of a Medal of Honor.
Cedric found adjusting to civilian life was harder than he'd expected, but his injuries prevented reenlistment or the ability to work with a PMC or contractor in a position that put him in the shit again. Cedric made use of his skills floating around in the civilian market as a "security consultant", where at least he was allowed to work "in the field" and eventually had to settle down as he found himself a wife. That "settling down" included a more permanent security position at LifeChem, which offered an amazing salary and extensive benefits. "Security Consultant" soon became "Chief of Security", and with that position came ties to some of the oldest money in the world - including the founders of LifeChem's very own Life family [GM Note: I wasn't going to have a founding party be the Life family, blame NUKE for including it in his team's proposal, and on Capcom for being so cheesy that I could see that fitting into an RE-adjacent universe]. After the first BOW event occurred, The Major was one of a select few parties involved in locating any threads leading to BOW research. While he didn't fully agree with the direction the corporation was taking, Cedric was offered the chance to personally lead the "security teams" responsible for reigning in and eliminating excessive outbreak threat, and that was too interesting an opportunity for him to pass up.
Unfortunately, a lot of things changed when Jasper Life killed two other members of the Board. Cedric was the one personally responsible for preventing further deaths. The Life family would see him dead eventually for what he'd done, so he decided to stick around with Medtronic and the security teams that went along with them. At least that way he was going to have more guns around him when the Life's turned their attention toward him.
A lot of Medtronic's security forces were ex-military or former law enforcement, so drills and training generally came easy to them. With funding from Medtronic, Cedric was able to order the construction of a large faux city block for urban combat training, as well as the facilities to house, care for, and otherwise train and maintain this Company-sized private military. Major Cedric Corbec is well-respected among his soldiers, and even at 40 is still at his peak. Minus the blind eye. He's trained very intensively since the injury though, and has managed to adjust better than most to the loss of depth perception.
Cedric runs Medtronic Security like a special forces outfit, and as a result those beneath him have high levels of autonomy when it comes to achieving the primary objective of the unit.

Proposal: Bioweapon Elimination Engagement Gun (BEEG)Difficulty: Very Hard Result: (6+5)-2=9,

BEEG is a 3kg, 54cm long bullpup carbine firing 6.8mm rounds at about 1000RPM. The weapon is designed with the three C's in mind - comfort, compact, combat. The weapon is easy to handle and recoil is minimized as a result. 10 and 30-round magazines are available on request. A top rail and forward side rail will allow the use of any accessories we could develop or come across, while the bayonet lug comes with an 18cm multipurpose bayonet "heavily inspired" buy the US military's M9.
A lot of work was put into the development of in-house ammunition, and was a task that required a little more expertise to be brought in than Medtronic had on-hand. Taking influence from big game hunters, we developed our own version of a "bonded bullet". The chemically bonded copper jacket and steel core fragments and breaks apart less easily than a typical hollow point round, so rounds can still impart a great amount of force onto harder material such as bone, and leaves a pretty nasty hole when it passes completely through a fleshy target. The rounds have a plastic tip to improve accuracy that initiates the mushrooming on impact with a soft target.

It is now the Deployment Phase. This is where you are responsible for formulating a plan for unit deployment. As with the Infection Stage, propose plans as a whole and not piecemeal. Plans will require the Units you wish to deploy, the equipment they'll be using, and the location they're headed off to. Additional
useful details in the plan (don't hit me with shit like the color of everyone's socks, unless of course there's something like a BOW that hates thigh high socks) allows me to adhere to your preferred tactics and strategies better. You can assign as much equipment as you want to any unit, so long as there are no duplicates in a unit and you have some left in the stockpile.
You should also probably create that whole company logo thing and choose the continent to engage a PR campaign in. It isn't a competition, you just need to have
something to put out there to get rewarded. Some people were assuming this would determine where their HQ was at and before that becomes someone asking about attacking the other team directly, it does not. This is simply the nation you're getting friendly with first. That one company what did that first outbreak had labs and shit all over the place and you're following in their footsteps so no centralized bases for you to beat up.
Toxoplasma Corpus: Based off of the Toxoplasma Gondii parasite. T.Corpus infests hosts as eggs in any bodily fluid that hatch worm larvae and spread throughout the hosts, ending in the brain, although an infected subject will have parasites throughout the body. T.Corpus eats the body's tissues and takes over a multitude of system. Infection results in rabid or feral behavior until host death. T.Corpus eggs spread through vomit, feces, blood, mucus, and saliva. Adult parasites act as a coagulant and will actively work to seal wounds. The parasite can live it's entire life cycle within a single host, but can just as easily survive outside of it, provided the parasite is within a bodily fluid. T.Corpus targets vertebrates, but most readily finds it's hosts in humans. Stockpile: 3 (1/3 Deployed)
Husk Hivers: Living beings turned into nests for an aggressive swarm of parasitic bees. The entire process of infection is incredibly painful and drives the host to madness. The bees come in Lesser, Greater, and Queen. Lesser and Greater Hivers are slaved to the Queen of their Husk, and can only go 15 meters from her before losing her scent and their minds and dying. Lessers take care of the nest and expand the hive while Greaters attack any animal or human that gets too close, spreading eggs with their stingers. Once the host dies, the Lesser Hivers devour the corpse and Queen while the Greaters go into a frenzy and die. Hivers will retreat into the hive in the presence of honey bees. Stockpile: 2 (1/2 Deployed)
BRIGANDINE: A highly protective and advanced CRBN suit with good mobility made of plastic, rubber, and aramid fibers. Very durable. Has an amazing air filtration system and backup air supply. The helmet has a powerful lamp and video camera as well as full communications suite and HUD for displaying teammate statuses. A forearm computer allows for control of the suit's subsystems. Stockpile: 5 (0/5 Deployed) // Deployment Limit: Platoon
Samurai Edge: A 9mm semiautomatic handgun with a 15-round magazine. Reliable. Stockpile: Infinite (0/- Deployed) // Deployment Limit: Company
Bioweapon Elimination Engagement Gun (BEEG): A 3kg, 54cm carbine firing special 6.8mm bonded bullets at 1000RPM that mushroom while remaining intact. Comes with 10 and 30 round magazines, very comfortable one piece polymer furniture, two rails, and a bayonet. Stockpile: 3 (0/3 Deployed) // Deployment Limit: Company
