Yeah ma'am see the problem you have is you've got roof wolves. They're pretty common round here sometimes. The only thing I can do in this case is put a puma statue up there and hope it scares them off.
Whats that ma'am? You want me to shoot them?

It could perhaps be an ambush. I've had one dump me in the middle of an empty murky pool.

You ever notice that most of the time your allies don't appear in town with you? That's where they are, on the tavern roof.

Whats that ma'am? You want me to shoot them? 'Fraid I can't do that ma'am it would get me in trouble with the Elves. Ya see roof wolves are an endangered species. I think it comes from all the hanging out of roof tops m'self. They don't really have very good balance.

Now while I can't do anything about the roofies. Perhaps I could interest you in a  good roof oiling. Helps keep the rain out. Wink. Wink.

Alright me and the boys will oil that thing up real nice. Just keep an umbrella handy for the next couple of weeks alright?

Heh, the parameters for location when ambushed do seem a little weird. The game completely expects you to climb on roofs as you're traveling. Wait, you can't climb in adventure mode, can you? I think as your adventurer gets stronger, he/she should be able to ascend sheer cliffs by slamming their fingers into the rock and crushing out a handhold.

And Ikkonoishi's post gives a whole new humorous dimension to that ambush. XD.

The ma'am should be happy it was just roof wolves. The real danger is roof dragons.

In that case all you can do is move out. The house'll burn itself down soon enough and your roof dragon problems will be gone.
