Benefit of being an elf
« on: February 25, 2008, 07:19:00 am »

Did you know that as an elf, all wildlife don't attack you? I had no idea.

I guess it's both a benefit and a loss. If you want to explore old fortresses unhindred, I guess the way to go is to be an elf.

But it's really troublesome to attack stuff. And you die so fast.

"Are you sure you want to attack the wolf?"

Really? That's new.  I've been mobbed by wild animals as an elf before.

Might have to try it out on a pocket world...  All the lands will bend to my rule!

Fun Fact No. 2:

Elves do not start with water or food.  A waterskin can only be made out of leather (horrors!), and the only food you can start off with is meat of some kind (horrors!).

Elves are supposed to be a tad faster than humans too. but thats really all I can think of. no good weapons or armor.  And it's only a matter of time til yer out of arrows.

Actually, just sneak around a goblin citadel.  I once found a guard who was wearing at least five quivers for some reason, all of them stuffed to the brim with iron arrows.  The speed bonus allows you to sneak faster than other races.

I still had over ninety left when another guard saw me, and on the first hit with his mace exploded by lower body.

The main benefit of elves is that their heads are the cutiest to be on the upright spears. Also their socks are narrow this way the santa can put only money inside, yay no more toys! I don't want other-than-money presents anyway =).

Pff, who needs food or water? Walking around is enough for real humanoids!
