You're the only one who attacks other players. I just wanted to have an HQ from which to attack 9. (and now my precious HQ is destroyed, which you will of course pay for in blood)

You already have one on the other side. Not to mention that would still put you on my border. Stay on your island till someone else attacks you.

I'm honestly surprised the tradesmen didn't. Not like you have any force projection across the ocean. [It would also sharply cut your army size down so you'd be stuck there.]

I am not in the best position given everyone else is in peace mode.

Becomes the moment Toaster attacks a1s, Taricus can attack Toaster.

Then Imic attacks Taricus, or Toaster, which promptly leaves Imic vulnerable to Kashyyk stab.

No matter how you mix-and-match that, it's potential disaster dominoes nobody wants to trip.

Probably a good idea. Though it will take a few turns for Sordland to take control of Reval. Still not invading you though.

The Union diplomatic corps issues a formal apology to Sordland; there was a mixup in army orders that sent troops into the northeastern province of the Union that was intended to head toward the mouth of the mountain pass.  The officer responsible has been sacked.
