Pull out a lighter and attempt to light Strik3r (or Egan, if they end up eating Strik3r) on fire.

The moment this post was made, i knew what my next course of action would be.

Using my newly acquired and presumably very ashen/charred form, i slide, as a pile of ashes, under THE DOOR or through the keyhole or whatever.

So, is your clump of ashes in THE ROOM or THE HALLWAY?

I roll up a new character.

Being from the COMmunications and RAdar DEtachment, I wear a red jumpsuit with the letters shown capitalized all together in one word on the back.

I acquire and bring back Chinese takeout and knock on the door.  “Does anyone want Chinese?”

THE DOOR opens!
"Hey thanks, join our party!"

Meth should of course roll up their character by first using one rpg system to create a character, then convert that character to a 2nd rpg system, then adapt that character to a modern setting.

((
You sure about that? Here's the math I'm planning to use to convert stats from RPG System 1 to System 2:
))

Totally do that.  But you have to identify the RPG systems...

roll up, you say?

So, uh... I don't exactly know many tabletop RPG systems (or any, for that matter), so instead I went Oblivion -> The Outer Worlds -> (simplified) Fallout + "modifications". There's a nearly-lethal dose of "I don't know what I'm doing" throughout. You didn't specify which RPGs, so I guess this counts? Here:

Species: Human???
Gender: "NO, GOD! PLEASE, NO! NOOOO!" (they/them)
Sex: No comment.

Strength: 1
Perception: 4
Endurance: 2
Charisma: 9
Intelligence: 1
Agility: 5
Luck: 7

Tag skills (chosen arbitrarily):
Speech
Unarmed
Barter

(This is gonna be interesting)

Of course, the Standard four professions are Baker, Assassin, Pilot, and Actuary.

The other possible races were Spindlie, Grub, Human, Bear, and Pustule. There are also Flies but they'd be harder to play as, being a temporary hivemind, so I left them out to fit the options on a d6.

That will work!

...the old joke answer whenever a job application asked "sex?" was "yes please"

Thanks.  Too bad you didn't roll Actuary, oh well.

Out in THE HALLWAY, Meth's character literally charms the pants off of Egan's character with the following extremely witty phrase:
"Hello, I would like to literally charm the pants off of you"

It would have been more impressive if Egan's character was wearing their pants over their legs, rather than slung over their shoulder, but enjoy the pants!

Wear the stolen "borrowed" pants. Dart off through THE HALLWAY just in case they notice (and look out for anything interesting).

Pass through The Door and joking the party, sharing the Chinese takeout.

When I get a chance, offer one of the party goers a pamphlet and ask them if they have time to hear a message about our Lord and Master Cthulhu and His Plan for the souls of mankind.

Hm, Egan's character's mobility AND awareness are 1, whereas meth's character's Agility is 5 and IS evading, so Egan will have to find meth before they can get their pants back.

"Yay, Chinese food!"

The partygoer is happy to hear about Cthulhu.  They're relieved you're not trying to bore them with Communism.  They give you a burnt offering in Cthulhu's name.

Get out of THE HALLWAY into the outside world, hopefully through a door that isn't THE DOOR.

(By the way, where is THE HALLWAY in relation to THE DOOR? Are they connected, or are we (Strik3r, Egan and I) just in a separate dimension that has nothing to do with THE DOOR?)

You dart OUTSIDE into the darkness!

Well, find the thief then!

Great, am I dead yet?

Look around the darkness. Brace for impact, if apparently falling.
