Anticlimactic?! That's pretty freaking badass!
"I thrust my sword again and again, striking him repeatedly, but to no avail... His axe came at me with ever increasing force as a berserker's rage took hold; only moments more and one of us would collapse from loss of blood. I pushed him back with a final volley of blows, expending the last of my strength in the hope that the water of the roaring river would give me time to recover. Suddenly, without warning, a crackling sound tore through the valley above as rushing rapids became sheer cliffs of ice. The goblin pushed his head above the torrent just in time to look toward the creaking doom, and was instantly encased by the frozen rapids. Within the goblin's frigid grasp gleamed his legendary axe. A look of abject terror was still upon his face, as I clawed my way into the block that held me. It takes a lot more than a little chill to keep a dwarf away from his loot."
That's assuming of course you were playing as a dwarf, 'cause if you weren't it'd be something more like this:
"AIEEEEEEEEEE" *stab* "uuuUUUUHHAHAAHAAAAAAAAAAA" *axe clangs against rock* "WoouuuuUAAUAUAUAAAAAA" *crackling sound* "EEEEEEAurk" *dies*
