The field that Lu detects doesn't belong to any ongoing effect, but is merely the lingering aura of a completed spell. Quite a powerful one.
He tries to move the sphere, but it would seem to be immovable.
ADA waits patiently for everybody to finish talking.
"Of course. Beginning Diagnostic."
The day is 1/1/1. It is the first day of the universe.
The Ark's inhabitants, many and varied, are just beginning to get acclimated to their new existance, some easier than others.
Still, functions are nominal. Artifacers and workers begin work to ensure that things stay that way, inspecting structural stability and maintaining a breathable atmosphere using the air tanks in storage.
Likewise, a basic command structure is put into place to organize work and resources. Naturally, a few ex=adventurers declare themselves kings and queens and start ordering everybody else around.
The Ark: A massive dungeon complex made from stone blocks held together by steel struts, adrift in the void. Equipped with all the facilities needed to support several thousand people, provided the proper supplies and maintenance.
Refugees (~1000): Former inhabitants of your original world. Humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, goblins, and others, mostly subspecies capable of interbreeding. Mostly commoners, but a wise civilization-builder knows that some of those are needed.
Skilled refugees (~200): The best of the best refugees from your world, including skilled workers and artisans, apprentices, druids, artifactors, and various adventurers: they possess a wide knowledge base from the old world. It would take a lot of these to match your combat ability alone, so try not to piss them all off at once.
Supplies (80): 1 will support 100 people for a month. Massive boxes of lantern oil, food, water, bottled atmospheric gases, and other necessities for life packed away in storage rooms.
Arcane materials (12): 1 to create a permanent spell effect. Various rare materials useful to a magic user, particularly for more powerful or permanent effects.
ADA: That's me. I keep track of the Ark's status and update this document as needed.
