Damnit people, this is why I said to keep the truce. Because now everyone's ganging up on the cats.
Also, don't forget to contact your local Eldritch Being(s), so that they can help with our mission to destroy the universe.

Would you like to partner up for an expedition, get to stage 2?

I am tempted. What is your hunter equipped with? at the moment I only have very basic gear, which I don't expect to do well in stage 2, unless your hunter can carry quite a bit of weight.

Our man has a Bandit Dagger and very good stats all around.

My man has a bandit dagger, an hand crossbow and the same stats as your, more or less.

I don't like our chances at stage 2, sorry. I'd rather go solo stage 1 this time.

Not selling the Affinity Stone, it's cost will be taken from the sent value to Robo, he gets 2.03 now, alongside the Affinity stone.

Oh Hey, is everyone settled up and ready to move forwards?

If you aren't, let me know and we'll run the turn tomorrow. Otherwise I'll process the turn in 4-5 hours.

Turn 9

OALM, M???ight Redeemers, and NOCOF continue deeper into Darremont's Bell.

Blue The Magus: Jackson Whyley takes a well-deserved rest while in Haven.

NOCOF: Mace Hawkshire is sent back out into the outskirts of Darremont's Bell.

Andrea: Anoints their candidate that they definitely bought last round, buys out the Bandit Dagger for ₹1.18, and sends out the freshly christened Leo Sidereo into the outskirts of Darremont's Bell.
Spoiler: purchases (click to show/hide)

Darremont's Bell
The storm that has been hovering over Darremont's bell in recent days seems to abate as quickly as it came. With one enormous peal of the great bell, the clouds begin to break up, and the moon stares down once more without veil. The city still feels malevolent and angry, but the power has clearly shifted. A blow has been struck, and, in contrast to a thousand other ill-fated attempts to fight back against the Lunacy, this one seems to have been felt.

This is not to say that Darremont's bell is any safer. If anything, the creatures that prowl the city's tangled streets seem ever more aggressive, actively seeking out Hunters to prey upon. While small groups of Hunters should still be able to slip around easily enough, larger expeditions will almost certainly encounter stiff resistance.

New Mechanic: Stealth threshold. Every expedition available has a Stealth Threshold that represents the maximum number of Hunters that can move without attracting unwanted suspicion. For every Hunter over this limit there is an increased chance of running into 'Frenzied' monsters. Frenzied monsters are more powerful than their ordinary counterparts, but do not provide any increased reward.

Hunter's Haven

Spontaneous drinking and festivities break out as letters return from Hunters in the field. While the exact details are not publically known, the grand expedition has been a success! They've struck deeply into the heart of an infected city, and have succeeded in prising a small  chunk of said heart away to study. For the first time in years, there is a fragile blossom of hope growing in the Haven. A struggle just to survive another day has now been given a glimpse that perhaps there truly are better days to come.

The goods brought back by Jackson Whyley are, unfortunately, met with partially inebriated experimentalists. While they give excellent prices, it's possible that their breakthroughs will be slightly delayed until the festive attitude brought on by the news from Darremont fades.

The Big Expedition has enough spare encumbrance to bring back all equipment. So once it returns, the owners will get their stuff back.

Anyway.
