꧁Darremont's Bell꧂'Big' Waltz is sent to embark to Darremont's bell by his patrons, sent of with a weapons silence and strength to smash a passage through the rotting town. Thankfully, that silent loadout does not prevent him from sending pigeons back to Town, notifying his patron of his progress.
Fylakas returns from expedition, bringing OALM the fruits of his expedition.
The joint Moonlight Redeemer and NOCOF venture, however, continues deeper into Darremont's bell. Pigeons still return on a regular basis, though perhaps fewer than before - as though there is perhaps less opportunity to write a message, or there are fewer people left to write them.
Rumor mongering paints a grim picture of the scene as the Hunters penetrate deeper into Darremont's bell. Stories speak of streets that have been rendered maze-like and corrupt as the very stone and timber of Darremont's Bell succumbs to the moon's sway, of lanterns lit now by foxfire flame as though the cursed take some pervese pride in tending their diseased city, and of more powerful and shadowy creatures that dwell in those inner streets.
Some are simply extensions of the Rotten already fought - individuals who retain some of their former equipment, martial skill, and enough intelligence to use both effectively. While such creatures are still among the least of the moon-cursed, their threat cannot be underestimated in numbers, or when providing support to their less intelligent peers.
Other rumors, however, bespeak much darker things. Lunacite grown up from mounds of the slaughtered or from massed graves, gaining intelligence and a malevolent life of its own. Hushed whispers and stories spread in half-lit backrooms tell of horse-sized creatures with limbs of razor-edged crystal, equal parts spider and shrike, impaling and collecting all who cross their path so that they can bask in the moonlight and grow larger still off the fresh blood of their prey.
