One Night, One Day. Ultimate Silliness. All roles will be known at game start. Everyone gets to play. No communication outside the thread.

Rules:

Everyone is assigned a role at the start of the game. Three additional roles will be added that can be interacted with as "Middle Roles". The roles can be targeted by some roles.
Game starts at Night. 24 Hour Night. All players action and then the game starts.
At the end of the Night, your role may have shifted. Your goal is to try to figure out what that role is and win by its Alignment.
Day lasts for 72 Hours or until everyone agrees to vote.
All players vote secretly at the end of the Day.
Players with the most votes are killed, ties kill all players, as long as each player has at least 2 votes. If any Werewolves are killed or no Villagers are killed and there are no Werewolves, the Villagers win. If no Werewolves are killed and a Villager is, the Villagers lose.

Addendum:
If a regular Werewolf has no other teammate, they may view a Middle Role.

Alignments:

Villagers win if at least one Werewolf is killed. If there are no Werewolves, wins if no Villagers are killed.
Werewolves win if no Werewolves are killed, and no Tanners are killed.
Tanners win if they are killed. If a Tanner is killed, the Werewolves lose.
Anti-Villagers win with the Werewolves. If there are no Werewolves, wins if a Villager is killed, and they're not.

Role: Thing
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Adjacent players are aware of the Thing being adjacent to them.

Role: Seer
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Views the role of another player OR views two of the Middle Roles.

Role: Apprentice Seer
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Views one of the Middle Roles

Role: Paranormal Investigator
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Views the role of up to two players. If the Paranormal Investigator views a Werewolf or Tanner role, they become a Werewolf or Tanner and can no longer view any remaining roles.
Ability: Wins with the villagers unless they become a Werewolf or Tanner.

Role: Nostradamus
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Views up to 3 roles. If they see a non-Villager role, they stop view any remaining roles and become that role. The last role that was viewed by Nostradamus is announced at the beginning of the game.
Ability: Wins with the villagers unless they become a Werewolf or Tanner.

Role: Robber
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Views the role of another player and then swaps their role with that player.

Role: Troublemaker
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Swaps the roles of two other players.

Role: Village Idiot
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Swaps all roles but theirs to the left or right.

Role: Aura Seer
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Sees all players that moved or viewed a role.
Requirements: Only appears if there are roles that move or view roles in the game.

Role: Drunk
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Swaps their role with a Middle Role without seeing it.

Role: Insomniac
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Views their own role.
Requirement: That a role that swaps roles with other players exists in the game.

Role: Squire
Alignment: Anti-Villager
Ability: Checks the Werewolves to see if their role has changed.

Role: Beholder
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Views the Seer and Apprentice Seer's role to see if their role has changed.
Requirements: Only appears if the Seer or Apprentice Seer is in the game.

Role: Revealer
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Views the role of another player. If that player is not a Tanner or Werewolf, it stays revealed.

Role: Tanner
Alignment: Tanner
Ability: Wins if killed.
Ability: Werewolves automatically lose if killed.

Role: Apprentice Tanner
Alignment: Tanner
Ability: Wins if the Tanner is killed. If there is no Tanner, wins if killed.
Requirement: Only appears if the Tanner is in the game.

Role: Hunter
Alignment: Villager
Ability: If killed, kills the player they are voting for as well.

Role: Prince
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Cannot be killed.
Ability: If they have the most votes, the players with the next highest amount (greater than 1) are killed instead.

Role: Bodyguard
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Their vote protects the player instead. If that player has the most votes, the players with the next highest amount are killed instead.

Role: Dream Wolf
Alignment: Werewolf
Ability: None
Requirement: There are always two Werewolf roles

Role: Cursed
Alignment: Villager
Ability: Wins with the Werewolves if voted by a Werewolf.

I think I could add some other generation rules, like limiting the number of third party alignments (Tanner, Minion, etc.) to 1. Right now, they generate at the same frequency as a Villager role, so they may reduce the overall swinginess.

It's a bit confusing, but the point is for it to be a rather silly mafia game. You are encouraged to lie, even as Villager, because someone could potentially cause you to lose if you don't.

Overall, it's not super chaotic, but it's definitely not serious.
