The Rick. The thing called Rick? Is Rick a title? You lack a decent enough frame of reference here. But you decide to focus on the low-hanging fruit for now.

It's surprisingly easy to do! You know humans use vibration and airwaves to communicate just from watching Rick, so moving a little air around with your metal manipulation is nothing. What you come up with is essentially a very intricate bellows-like protrusion pushing air through constantly shifting passageways.
Hearing even a distorted and weird voice, or voice at all pushes Rick to ANOTHER ear-splitting yell. Though you have no ears, you know it shouldn't be that loud! You do the only thing you can and
SCRAAWWWGGHHEAM back at him in what might be a "Death Metal Growl", almost shaking the whole machine while still holding his hand.
This finally gets him to stop, crumpling in a wide-eyed heap, staring at... you? The machine? Maybe it's moot. You stop, too. You don't want to mess with him that much, really, just get him to listen. That's the word for it, right? Sounds right. But now you're pretty sure you can't 'talk' to him to begin with. So instead, you creep your metal-tendrils up a bit further, getting to the hem of his shirt.
You are struck by a raw, overriding emotion of appreciation and fulfillment. The human's clothes—his WORK clothes—seem quite content, as evidenced in their pride at always being with him every hour through his regular day, and liken their pressing with a hot iron to a through-weekly spa treatment. They don't seem to really care what you're doing to Rick's arm.
This doesn't change even when you try to talk to his actual body—to perhaps predictable results. He
YELPS and jolts about spasmodically, though he takes the shock better than the roach did. You are struck by how Rick's insides seem to work just like a machine, and there is even metal (iron) in his blood you can kinda-sorta feel out, and plenty of carbon to also get a handle on. But... you don't get any response back. If his lifeblood could talk to you, Rick, as in the personality of Rick might be suppressing its "voice". You wonder at the possibility of assuming control and liberating said voice, though there'll likely be high consequences.
For now, you release Rick's arm after being satisfied with the info you find out, but not before forming a skin-tight band of aluminum around his index finger. He recoils and crab-kicks back along the floor away from you, but doesn't quite run away just yet.

Yuu need ah taste of vaycayshun~!" you emulate, using a little advice from a certain cheery soda in the machine. Rick just stares at you, trying to process what just happened.
Vibration-induced sound. Can vibrate your 'body' and other things you're in contact with to produce sounds, including imitation of voices.
Carbon manipulation. Can transmute and move carbon around into virtually any shape or construct, including graphene and graphite (which conducts electricity).
Electrical control & communication. Can use electricity to "talk" to objects and convey your will. This extends to static electricity on fabrics and the like. Dangerous for living things; you once killed a cockroach like an anemone stings its prey.
Metal-bending. Can transmute most metallic objects you touch. This includes your own can.
WaterLiquid-bending. Can manipulate virtually any liquid, including yours and other cans' lifeblood. This essentially means telekinetically guiding it around, even against the pull of gravity.
Highly toxic. Anything trying to consume you had better have iron guts to handle the lightning bolt of stimulants ripping through their body, forget the shampoo and fullerene.
