2 points for Copi to jump to Necarivore in Jutted Savanna.
You can't "jump", once a species is on its niche, its there forever. You can just speciate to get it though.

I think I’ve got to many other things going on in the forums right now and I’ve just realized that I don’t have the means (I.e. a working dual monitor setup) to properly cross reference the OP’s posts with the other player’s posts in order to make an informed decisions as to my moves, so I think I’ll be bowing out on this one.

Hope you guy’s have fun!

Bye.

Edit:

P.s.  I’ve just realized that this is like a poker game (people who post later have more information with which to make decisions than people who post earlier and are therefore more likely to benefit), but actually not (there’s no fixed order for people to post in -like the order of play in a poker game-, so people can just abuse the system by waiting until everyone else has post before posting their move).

To be fair, a game like this does require either secret turns via PMs or some kind of initiative rolls. It is beneficial to wait till other players make their moves and then act accordingly (invade their niches they won't defend, block continent-hopping attempts, etc) It is also beneficial to edit your moves before the turn is finalizied

If you want to compete, I can see why you may see it unfitting for your tastes. As I said, for a proper PvP you need either secret turns or initiative rolls

I see it more like a sandbox with some competition thrown in, my current turn is... quite suboptimal to say the least but I am doing what I consider to be fun.

Yeah, This game is a mostly sandbox, The reason you are struggling with the problem above now is that I am waiting for you to colonise the entire world and yaking the climate changes slow.

Once you are all everywhere, then the climate and landmasses will shift in more erratic ways, and you will all be too busy branching out.

TBH, I am not a fan of the ocean crossing mechanics.  Yep, sometimes species may fly\swim... sometimes it may be drifting wood or something like this but usually geographic barriers do work.

I hope that this continent we all started on will collide with something soon. Otherwise, we will be stuck in either killing out <10 E.S. species or going for lucky rolls for the ocean crossing.

(Ah I guess I didn't change my original post to reflect the response after where I said for the clade attempting to speciate into Small Browsers rather than large. No biggie, it was my fault I suppose. I'll write some flavour later after I see how this next turn goes.)

Clade: Graspers

Bespeckled Graspers speciate from Large Browser into Small Predators, known as the Pygmy Graspers. Using 5 points.
