World of Monsters 2.0

I have done a lot of work on the mechanics of the game that I don't think continuing the old game would be feasible. So we are going to start from the beginning again.

You wake up in a world of monsters. What do you wake up as?
A. Blobs/Slimes: Gelatinous creatures that are easiest to kill, and most prevalent
B. Forgotten: Non-monster creatures that have outlived the rest of their group by at least 100 turns and have not joined another one since
C. Dire Wolfs: Wolves only in name, their size and ferocity is unmatched by their cousins
D. Gobliniod: You'll get to choose your sub-race
E. Dire Bear: Similar to Dire Wolfs only Bears



This is the starting phases, I will wait at least 24 hours before next update. Feel free to ask questions and unlike last time I am not making this up as I go(as with most games there will inevitably be edits along the way).

Iiiiinteresting. I do believe we played a dire wolf last time.

Considering the options:
-Blob/slime: Eh. Just doesn't sound that interesting.
-Forgotten: While an interesting concept, I'm not quite sure of how it works. We're some kind of non-monster creature that's survived a long time by itself; that last part also means less potential for semi-friendly interaction and probably a lot more stealth. Might include humans as an option?
-Dire wolf: Basically would result in gameplay similar to the first time.
-Goblinoid: Likely similar to last game (especially pack/tribe interactions), but different in some key ways. Less raw strength, more equipment, preparation, and teamwork.
-Dire bear: Also extrapolates from last game, but in the opposite direction from goblins. Bears are much more solitary than wolves, but we'd have even more raw power to make use of. We'd essentially be the top of the food chain, but we'd still have to avoid ticking off other bears and getting caught by traps.

My personal vote goes toward goblinoid. The intra-/inter-tribe politics stuff could be fun, and it would be interesting to be able to make more advanced plans for dealing with stuff beyond just the most basic "here's how we'll ambush them".

Slime gets my vote, because I feel like making a hardcore version of "That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime" could be interesting. Having an amorphous body that can transform into any shape is amazing, and so is being so low-ranked and non-threatening that most everything else ignores you.

But how will we find love in this world if we're doomed to chase our own tail? And at least with slimes we can probably morph ourselves to suit anyone we meet. If not, we'll just have to improvise.

Ah right you are a slime.
So what is the size of the grove you are in?
A)Tiny(just you locks size at 1)
B)Small(10 of you(max size of 2))
C)Large(100 of you(max size of 4))
D)Massive(1,000 of you(max size of 8))

And how big are you(size)?(1-8(size dependent on grove)

Since you are a slime how do you want to play?
-Worry only about myself
-Worry about the whole(if you chose this you do not need to decide on a personal size)

And the speed of the game?
-Slow(1 day at a time)
-Fast(1 month at a time)
-Neutral(1 month for general stuff, 1 day for exploring and the like)(Glass's idea)

How about combat?
-Auto(I do all the rolls at once with what ever strat/tactic you decide on before hand)
-Manuel(combat will be broken into rounds)
-Semi-auto(auto with prompts)


This is another starting phase and it is the weekend. So I will give you all 36 hours to decide. Next will be the start.
