However we feel about how balanced the game was or how well any player played, I think we can probably all agree that this was objectively the funniest thing to happen in the entire game:

Replacement. I just came back and honestly I don't have the time to look through 50 pages of post. Rather than blunder town and I am just going opt out.

Old meme format I know, but it's what came to mind.

Luckyowl forgets to notice that he's dead. Promptly gets booted from magic school.

About Lucky's role: while it didn't end up being relevant, it actually seems underpowered. If the Illusionist uses their nightkill regularly, they have to give up all hope of successfully using the countdown nuke. If they choose to focus on the countdown nuke, they basically have no alibi or such, and have to lay low for like.. 5 whole cycles, using nothing but that action? 4 whole cycles? It's rough. The issue is that they have no utility to use in blending in with the town.

In my book, third parties (except for snowballing or group third parties like cult) should always be significantly more potent than an individual townie or mafioso to give them a fair chance at victory.

You should be, that's my favorite game so far for this 2020 run besides Vengeful 13. I've enjoyed certain days of other games (end of D2 of Super10 was amazing), but overall it's those two.
Heh, I'm really glad. Hopefully I can take the lessons I learned from MVM2 and apply them to FBYOR5, which may run sooner than expected if people keep needing more time to develop their games. I'll probably run Mostly Vanilla Mafia 3 later this year, after FBYOR5, though. The experience of developing these setups is really engaging and enjoyable.

I'm almost surprised we didn't have the Wuba classic of the town-aligned doomspeaker.

True, FoU. True.

But I stopped feeling bad when I got this:
yeah, I'm a bit busy right now...I can't believe I'm still alive.
They were not still alive.

Secretdorf was able to kill everyone if they ever got the Mafiakill.

Secretdorf had a 1-Shot that would let them use any number of wands on any number of people.

You simply take a wand with a Lethal spell and use it on everyone else.

This was actually why Kills were very limited in this game. Secretdorf's role could potentially have confirmed everyone. Actually super broken.

It's hilarious how acting like an SK is technically an entirely viable strategy for town. If you know you're town, then just nuking everyone else is guaranteed to catch the mafia, isn't it?

I feel responsible for having all of town wanting me dead for two days and having little recourse to really contribute in the hunt for the real wolf. That pardon felt awful, and I had nothing to convince anyone of what was really happening. Maybe I should have kept the Oracle thing to myself for longer :/

Also, I'm still quite upset that Secret didn't care to confirm my auto. I literally had nothing else to prove I wasn't lying about who I was. Not that it matters, maybe. I performed terribly.

Legit though, I included you in my reads list as town because I saw you as the towniest and most logical person around, impressively so. Your gameplay was pretty dang good, at least from what I saw.

Side note: I think Tric's mafia gameplay has significantly improved from when he started playing. Kudos for that.

If Secret confirmed you hadn't targeted anyone, that would have helped yeah. Everyone else was accounted for I think? So that would mean that the kill would have had to be done with another action. Which kinda throws things off.

Things go well, then murphy comes along to laugh. One shouldn't stop actioning till the end if you're town.(secretdorf)
