I tried to see through the dwarf, but there it is only shown which animals are not yet assigned.
Also on the animal I couldn't find to which dwarf it is assigned, but it was written that "animal is waiting for conflict".
Does that mean the animal is assigned to war but didn't go?
Is there an in game menu that shows assigned animals (or a DFHack tool)?

One mission is already 2 years running and another is a month, both are 5 days travel away. I think that's because I forgot an aminal in a pasture or something and it's not gone to war.

Ha. Seems that doesn't do what I thought it did. Was sure it just listed the assigned animal. Never mind then.
