It was no natural storm that wrecked you. The dark, hungry waters and haunting, howling winds felt alive as they buffeted the ship. It was a large craft, well built and well crewed, but it could withstand such fury only so long.

You had known taking passage on a pirate ship might be dangerous, and that swinging this far out from Hyrule's shores definitely would be. But you had business that could not be settled otherwise, and the captain claimed to have run this route before. Perhaps this is what you get for trusting a moblin.

Now you've washed up on a sandy tropical beach, amidst the wreckage and survivors of the ship. You have no idea where you are, but danger won't be far. You'll need to gather allies, materials, and your wits if you're to survive here, let alone thrive or escape.

Been wanting to try this system out, but too lazy to do it myself. So someone else doing it for me is perfect~ Guess I'd better join this and make some sort of unnecessarily edgy twili girl or something.

haha just kidding i would never make an unnecessarily edgy character

Will probably make a sheet, tomorrow, after I wake up, once I've been able to figure out how to actually access the rules.

I'm also interested in this. I'll see if I can get a character sheet up tomorrow-ish when it's not 2 AM.

I just realized that I don't play hardly any non-AR forum games right now...but BotW theming, y'know?

OK that took forever. My brain hurts now.

I am of little commitment, but I am of great creativity. Try these if you are having trouble coming up with a backstory.

Hey, some quick suggestions:

-Assuming IO isn't messing around too much with how finding resources works, we should probably have somebody with at least decent Civilization so that we can find Metal and Stone more easily. While having three people with 2 in it isn't terrible, it does still make it harder to find the stuff in higher qualities.

-The same goes for Arcana for finding Gemstones and Ancient materials. We have one person with a 3 in it, and then everyone else has a 1. Not great, especially with how useful both of those materials have the capacity to be.

-I don't know if we need to have someone good at Cooking or not, but it may be a good idea, considering that we'll need to eat at every rest to not get ranks of hunger, anyway.

-Nature is the medicine stat for helping other people with injuries. We have a person with a 4 in it and another with a 2. It would likely be good to have another person with at least a 3 in it.

-While we don't expect to meet a lot of people early on, it may still be useful to have somebody relatively good at social stats.

I've got 3 in nature and arcana for the sweet sweet lore bonuses. With cooking, at least we won't starve if we're not very good at it, we'll just get less benefit from the meals we make. I'm just glad that you have good Enchantment, honestly. That's the thing that I never looked at while making my character and ended up with a fat 1 in it. :v
