L, Mira, Ehto
"I've never met someone else with those traits ever. As far as I know, only one Vi-Ra-Nor can exist at once." She froze for a brief moment, a different and much more fearful sort of pause than her previous confusion. It lasted only an instant; anyone who cared about who Vi-Ra-Nor was would have known about Lilith and Kallisto. It's not like they can track down your family from here, or something. Stop being paranoid. "As far as your question. . ." She looked up, gazing off into nothing for a moment. And then immediately looked down, her blush receiving a small transfusion. No, I am absolutely not talking about that. Why'd she have to bring up my ears. . .? The embarrassment faded quickly, however, as she thought.
"The Queen of Shadows is. . . misunderstood. Everyone is either terrified of her or wants to use her for their own sick purposes. And she can be scary -" one of the largest understatements of her short life "- but mostly she was just scared herself. Scared of others, scared of them hurting her again, but mostly scared of hurting people." Her hand drifted up toward her neck of its own accord. "She's quiet, but so much kinder than anyone knows. So much warmer." L found herself blinking more than usual. "She didn't smile often, but I got to see it when she did. When she's get carried away on something that caught her interest, and forgot about everything. . ." Her vision blurred.
"Sorry." She wiped at her face with a well-worn sleeve. "I, um. I'm the Knight of Power, she's very important to me. And in general." She glanced off to the side, awkwardly evading further eye contact. "I gave everything up for her, even my heartbeat, and I'd do it again if I had the chance." Her demeanor recovered a bit as she made this proclaimation, posture strengthening and voice becoming more resolute. "That's why I'm here, after all."
