Project: Countries United National Transportation Services.

Initial Rolls:
Initial Rolls: Time (3) Cost (1)

Countries United, or Countries United national Transportation Services, a name that Feng seems to really really hate, is a humanitarian charity that aims to help the poor and with food and clothing, along with some legal help mainly related to housing and loitering laws. It's a fairly simple charity all things considered, and should be able to get a good deal of cash invested into it through donations of people who think they are actually making a difference to feel good about themselves. The issue is, due to the fact we plan to start in three different countries, we need three different national legal experts, more vehicles for transportation, three different languages, and so forth. Further, it's a non profit organization, and that means that the set up cost is likely to be quite a bit as we aren't really making any profit. Regardless it will be quite helpful for shipping people and things between the three cities once it's finished. But that will take time.

Vinod, please stop with these terrible anacronyms. This is a charity service, not some secret project you can laugh at while I try and forget about it's name with Baijiu, Gunner, or Mijiu as you slowly drive me to become an alcoholic. The general public will be seeing this and they WILL make the connection. While you doing a similar thing with your new business works as a joke for the English speaking in Pren Gwyn, it can be spun as such and good marketing through recognizing the practices other similar businesses do, but even then it's a fine line to walk. The charity meanwhile cannot. So please, I implore you to keep these jokes to yourself, or at least to the secret documents as opposed to the projects that everyone will see. I have an image to uphold after all, and I want my investments to work.
-Feng Zhelan

It is currently the Deployment phase.

You may now assign a character to either work on one of you projects, recruit more villains into the fold, move to another city, or lastly engage in the world for one action or another. In the case of the latter, it is best to devise a plan. Otherwise, they will simply do more generic actions that fit their character.

Feng makes a public presence of herself, doing charitable works through the Youth Program. Her goal is to improve public opinion of herself and increase her reputation as a result.

Vinod personally oversees the legal and not-so-legal operations at the Scrap-Happy Auto Mechanic. His goal is to speed up work and increase the amount of cash coming into C.A.L.M.

Dr. Stealey goes to work developing TIPS.

The Outside World and Previous Actions

The museum in Kalterhafen has had it's grand opening, and had record numbers of visitors. In fact, the city got a fair good bit of tourism thanks to the famous individuals all there for it's opening. Further, the investment in the museum seems to have been well founded with an extensive amount of profit coming in within the first month, and while this all is likely just the early boom before it's popularity starts to decline, the prestige it has gained is nothing short of exceptional. In other news, the spree of robberies from industrial plants in Messerbeißer had a surprising dip last month, only to ramp up to overdrive over the past few weeks. The police force was spread so thin due to all the crime that things have spiraled out of control with other criminal elements taking advantage of the chaos. Worse for the city, many factories are closing down for good due to the massive loss in profit due to both the materials they output alongside the actual machinery itself being stolen. Outside of Schwarzes Holz, a major robbery took place near Casnewydd, targeting a federal reserve. While the exact loss is unknown, it is believed tens of millions worth of gold was stolen, and all guards reported not seeing anything, further all security footage of the incident seemed to be corrupted... An investigation is ongoing, but all that could be found was a single playing card with the emblem of a wolf upon it. Other than crime, in Nemorland, the elections have just started going underway, and this alongside the legal troubles that some of the New Clear Visionaries leaders had have finally ended, with only two actually arrested with many more free to run and campaign, much to the rejoicing of Metahuman Activists.

Project: TIPS

With Stealey given the work of designing and producing the correct chemical concoction of a paralysis serum she swiftly got to work on the materials. While her specialty was more with the human body than chemicals, the project and it's nature was close enough to her own work that she could apply a fair bit of her knowledge to her work. And it shows with just how quickly she's been on the project. In fact, already she has sent a request for test subjects as she has a number of variants made. The reason for her desire for test subjects is fairly obvious, and in her own words it is "To ensure that, in the case the paralysis effect is too effective in any of the compositions I have made, you don't in the future use one that will stop more than just their limbs unless you intend to stop their vital functions. After all, if you just wanted something to kill people you'd request a poison." Needless to say, we just need a bit of testing and production at this stage.

General, mostly legal work

With things mostly calming down and Feng finally having some time to herself what with that new doctor working away at some projects, Feng is able to do the classic thing she has done plenty of times before, run a charity drive and utilize it to get further connections. Of course, just casually supporting an existing charity that more or less supported her cause, especially the youth program that she directly funded and who's more...unique recruits she benefited from. Still, the time was fairly peaceful, and when not at these social events and fundraisers, she was actually able to relax and enjoy her position. After all, she couldn't do charity events every single day. There was schedules and all that. And this meant that she didn't have to spend all day working on her legitimate business and her more illegal projects.

Vinod meanwhile gets to relax and work on his new business. While initially mainly just doing legal business, a few connections of his which he recently made found a more...illicit partner that could give him a decent chunk of change. In this he was able to meet a few people who had some sort of strange sub machine guns that presumably were heavily modified that seemed to almost crackle with energy. Regardless, these crooks were quite secretive though it was quickly discovered they were related to the massive industrial thievery a bit further south across the border, and upon learning of Vinod's willingness due to his contact were willing to use him for some help. Needless to say, they simply had him hide industrial equipment and quickly recolor, retool, and improve their vans and some of their trucks, and he made a massive profit from it too, for mostly legal and non dangerous work.

With regards to the auction of the stolen art galley items, a few corporate individuals have, interestingly enough, bought the goods under the table. Obviously they were vetted and aren't going to snitch, and even if they did they would not only have more to lose from such but wouldn't effect our operations much. Still, it's only furthered our profit. (3 crates worth of artifacts left)

It is currently the Project and Research phase.

You may at this moment in time describe and start one project which you would like to work on. The full effects of a project will be known upon completion, and the price and time of a project will be known once it is started. Do note that once you start a project, you do not need to work on it in the deployment phase, though electing not to will not advance it closer to completion.

The Messerbeißer Youth Program

Thanks to the positive attention, and employee pool, gained from the youth program in Pentrefsiapaneaidd, it's about time to expand toward neighboring cities.

Instead of advancing the program in Pren Gwyn, the charitable hand of Feng Zhelan extends itself toward Schwarzes Holz, and Messerbeißer in particular. Due to the recent increase in poverty, this free program is advertised as a means of keeping youth occupied and, hopefully, out of trouble. The program used here is focused on feats of strength more in line with the natural inclination of these industrial mountain people - competitive sports are a staple of the program, and double as a great method of teaching teambuilding and leadership skills. While the recruits gained from Pentrefsiapaneaidd are more inclined to "grab", those we get from Messerbeißer should be more of the type to "smash", but not irresponsibly so.

Stun Baton

An extendable metal baton with a battery pack in the handle. The head is slightly bulbous and has contacts exposed across it. When extended and activated the baton will discharge enough energy into a person to knock them out of action for a good few minutes. Each use drains the battery, but they're easy enough to replace. When not powered, the baton is still an effective blunt weapon.

Thermite Charges

For when something proves too secure to get into quickly, or you're in a rush, a small thermite charge is all you need! The back of the charge is covered in a thin coating that can be removed to expose a sticky adhesive surface. The front of the charge, about the size of a small envelope, has a timer that can be set for up to 30 seconds.
