The Outside World and Previous Actions
The museum in Kalterhafen has had it's grand opening, and had record numbers of visitors. In fact, the city got a fair good bit of tourism thanks to the famous individuals all there for it's opening. Further, the investment in the museum seems to have been well founded with an extensive amount of profit coming in within the first month, and while this all is likely just the early boom before it's popularity starts to decline, the prestige it has gained is nothing short of exceptional. In other news, the spree of robberies from industrial plants in Messerbeißer had a surprising dip last month, only to ramp up to overdrive over the past few weeks. The police force was spread so thin due to all the crime that things have spiraled out of control with other criminal elements taking advantage of the chaos. Worse for the city, many factories are closing down for good due to the massive loss in profit due to both the materials they output alongside the actual machinery itself being stolen. Outside of Schwarzes Holz, a major robbery took place near Casnewydd, targeting a federal reserve. While the exact loss is unknown, it is believed tens of millions worth of gold was stolen, and all guards reported not seeing anything, further all security footage of the incident seemed to be corrupted... An investigation is ongoing, but all that could be found was a single playing card with the emblem of a wolf upon it. Other than crime, in Nemorland, the elections have just started going underway, and this alongside the legal troubles that some of the New Clear Visionaries leaders had have finally ended, with only two actually arrested with many more free to run and campaign, much to the rejoicing of Metahuman Activists.
Project: TIPSWith Stealey given the work of designing and producing the correct chemical concoction of a paralysis serum she swiftly got to work on the materials. While her specialty was more with the human body than chemicals, the project and it's nature was close enough to her own work that she could apply a fair bit of her knowledge to her work. And it shows with just how quickly she's been on the project. In fact, already she has sent a request for test subjects as she has a number of variants made. The reason for her desire for test subjects is fairly obvious, and in her own words it is "To ensure that, in the case the paralysis effect is too effective in any of the compositions I have made, you don't in the future use one that will stop more than just their limbs unless you intend to stop their vital functions. After all, if you just wanted something to kill people you'd request a poison." Needless to say, we just need a bit of testing and production at this stage.
General, mostly legal workWith things mostly calming down and Feng finally having some time to herself what with that new doctor working away at some projects, Feng is able to do the classic thing she has done plenty of times before, run a charity drive and utilize it to get further connections. Of course, just casually supporting an existing charity that more or less supported her cause, especially the youth program that she directly funded and who's more...unique recruits she benefited from. Still, the time was fairly peaceful, and when not at these social events and fundraisers, she was actually able to relax and enjoy her position. After all, she couldn't do charity events every single day. There was schedules and all that. And this meant that she didn't have to spend all day working on her legitimate business and her more illegal projects.
Vinod meanwhile gets to relax and work on his new business. While initially mainly just doing legal business, a few connections of his which he recently made found a more...illicit partner that could give him a decent chunk of change. In this he was able to meet a few people who had some sort of strange sub machine guns that presumably were heavily modified that seemed to almost crackle with energy. Regardless, these crooks were quite secretive though it was quickly discovered they were related to the massive industrial thievery a bit further south across the border, and upon learning of Vinod's willingness due to his contact were willing to use him for some help. Needless to say, they simply had him hide industrial equipment and quickly recolor, retool, and improve their vans and some of their trucks, and he made a massive profit from it too, for mostly legal and non dangerous work.
With regards to the auction of the stolen art galley items, a few corporate individuals have, interestingly enough, bought the goods under the table. Obviously they were vetted and aren't going to snitch, and even if they did they would not only have more to lose from such but wouldn't effect our operations much. Still, it's only furthered our profit. (3 crates worth of artifacts left)
It is currently the Project and Research phase.
You may at this moment in time describe and start one project which you would like to work on. The full effects of a project will be known upon completion, and the price and time of a project will be known once it is started. Do note that once you start a project, you do not need to work on it in the deployment phase, though electing not to will not advance it closer to completion.
Status of the Cabal:Current Funds: 7 million $
Current Influence: 2 favors
Villain list:Name: Feng Zhelan
Gender: Female
Appearance and Background: Born in Hong Kong, Zhelan was one swift to realize their lack of opportunity there from a young age, and would, after learning English thanks to a factory manager she worked for temporarily, stow away on a ship to America, where she would find Chinese immigration was banned. While she originally had an idea of going to Canada through america and getting a permit there so that way they could loophole the system, they needed money for this and would resort to thievery for a time, eventually ending in her getting caught. However, she'd manage to escape before being deported and steal one last time before stowing herself away once more, and she would keep one of the amulets she stole, one she keeps to this day and believes has some good fortune, even if she knows such notions are silly. Once the second ship she stowed away upon docked, she'd find herself in Pren Gwyn, and would work slowly on getting money, which naturally she'd do through the way she knew best. However, after some time, she would meet a man named Shun who she would grow quite fond of, and after some time with enough money open up a restaurant named the White tiger of the West, or Xīfāng báihu, though she'd soon use it as a front for various other more...illicit businesses as she expanded her empire as it turned out that her restaurant struggled at first. And while her restaurant would get a profit as she learned, so too did her more illegal business, expanded later on by the purchase of a pharmaceutical's store. And, while she'd use plenty of funds to aid the local Asian community, she also would use those under her for less legal work to enforce a bit of...extrajudicial form of protection against other groups of organized crime...In part, due to her efforts, Pentrefsiapaneaidd is what it is now. Yet, this wasn't exactly enough...

Name: Vinod Ashtekar
Gender: Male
Appearance and Background: Born in India, Vinod and his story is mostly unknown to us until they arrived in Pren Gwyn, and Pentrefsiapaneaidd. Initially, they worked as a mechanic, surprisingly enough. Anyone else would say he worked hard and eventually managed to save up enough money to buy themselves a nice car which later they modified as a bit of a passion project. But in reality, they had always done a few jobs on the side of their main work. Often in the transportation of any illegal goods, no questions asked, followed by what made his passion for mechanics second in his mind. Racing. While he still would work on the transport of illegal and stolen goods, his focus became that of racing, and even at times working as a getaway driver. Regardless, he has gained the ire of some due to his lack of loyalty to anyone in any sort of gang conflicts and instead working akin to a mercenary who got hired by four gangs in particular fairly commonly, and he knows this. Still, as long as he has his car, he'll be safe.
He has tan skin and short, strait black hair and brown eyes, and commonly wears casual clothing along with sunglasses when driving, so long as it's not night.
