The Outside World and Previous Actions
In Nemorland, further unrest seems to have been somewhat delayed due to there being a hung jury in the trial. Despite this controversy it seems that the New Clear Visionaries are still gaining members due to their so far peaceful activities and the actions of a so called 'Caladrius' saving people and lives. Partially related to the Caladrius situation, Sothweg has announced a new 'heroes of the red banner' program, which is believed to be a metahuman program related to their police force or military. Additionally, a new explosive newspaper seems to have started to be published, mainly shedding light on a major sandal involving the third son of Pren Gwyn's current prince, activities involving Schwarzes Holz's intelligence agency that go against the law and abuse it's loopholes, and reporting on the new and first 'superhero' of Nemorland. Due to the...nature of it's reporting, many in the governments of Pren Gwyn and Schwarzes Holz are none too pleased and are trying to get it shut down... Somewhat fittingly, a new news broadcasting station has started operating in Schwarze Holz as well, though far more government aligned than the recent newspaper. Lastly, a major robbery occurred in Pentrefsiapaneaidd. Details are sketchy, but it's believed that at least 5,650,000 in cash was stolen. Other than this everything else related to it is tied to rumors.
Project: Sneaking SuitsWork on the Sneaking Suits project has continued slowly but surely. A viable synthetic material that shows a lot of promise has been found to be quite good at reducing noise emission provided one isn't stepping on creaky wooden floors, even when running, and a number of solutions to the bullet resistant weave have managed to pop up, as are those of fireproofing. Still, the biggest hurdle to the project still remains out of grasp so far is the ability for it to disrupt camera's. But we still have time, and we are getting close to it's completion. Perhaps something could be devised from it all, but regardless there isn't too much longer to wait thankfully.
Engagement: Operation PaydayWith the date of a sizable withdrawal practically to our choosing, we have a bit of time to prepare for the transfer. Of course, we have measures in place to...disappear one of the workers at the bank through one of our syndicate's enforcers and frame them so as to make a further alibi for how the date of the transfer was found out. Regardless, the money the bank looses will easily be replaced by their insurance, and it won't effect anyone's accounts. Still, Vinod is quite excited, and the new teams are prepared in time for the date. Watching the roadway's, Vinod would soon find the armored van, and waiting for the right moment, he'd make his move.

Vinod and Master Thieves have won the engagement!
Driving recklessly into a red light at the right time, Vinod is able to force a poor civilian to swerve and crash right into the row of cars next to where the Van was, essentially trapping the thing with only a small gap large enough for only a small golfcart to fit through. Naturally, in the process, Vinod doesn't so much as scratch the paint. Swiftly after this a number of angry drivers would get out of their car and start yelling, but this distraction would easily allow the thieves to blend in and get closer to the van, and even get close enough to be by the doors. But as they drew their weapons the guards seemed to catch on and opened fire, getting a few rounds into the thieves before return fire was delivered harshly on them. It took a few bullets, but the tempered glass wasn't able to withstand this, especially given the damage done to it by the van drivers. After being shot, they naturally panicked and were fairly easy to dispatch, and the gunshots swiftly got all the nearby people to disperse. Swiftly after this, they would unload the cash and 'borrow' a nearby car to unload the money on once Vinod was full and to further speed up the unloading process, and after that they were away. Luckily, due to their swift speed and execution, they wouldn't get caught and manage to avoid a police chase entirely, especially thanks to Vinod's fake id plates. Ironically, Vinod was a bit disappointed that there was no chase.
Meanwhile, the other team made their way into the bank itself, and attempted to sneak in to hit the safety deposit boxes...

The thieves have escaped the engagement
The robbery of the actual bank went a lot more messy than the van robbery. Going in through a back entrance and after dealing with a guard, the thieves managed to get the bank manager and bring them to the vault where in they had to fight another guard in a fight that resulted in a few injuries and a fair bit of noise which raised an alarm. Worse, not realizing this and continuing to focus on opening the bank vault, they didn't notice the guard who arrived after they had dealt with the one at the vault until it was a bit late, and that guard even managed to get away with his life. Still, they did manage to get into the vault and take the money from a number of safe boxes, but the amount they got compared to the van itself was small. Despite that though, the threat of a hostage situation combined with the divided attention they had to have likely allowed for both our forces to make their getaway.
Vinod and the thieves have gained 6 million $ for their robbery this round!
It is currently the Project and Research phase.
You may at this moment in time describe and start one project which you would like to work on. The full effects of a project will be known upon completion, and the price and time of a project will be known once it is started. Do note that once you start a project, you do not need to work on it in the deployment phase, though electing not to will not advance it closer to completion. (Also please don't forget about the bonus you still haven't used yet)
(If you just want the wet reports in the future let me know)
Status of the Cabal:Current Funds: 13 million $
Current Influence: 11 favors
Villain list:Name: Feng Zhelan
Gender: Female
Appearance and Background: Born in Hong Kong, Zhelan was one swift to realize their lack of opportunity there from a young age, and would, after learning English thanks to a factory manager she worked for temporarily, stow away on a ship to America, where she would find Chinese immigration was banned. While she originally had an idea of going to Canada through america and getting a permit there so that way they could loophole the system, they needed money for this and would resort to thievery for a time, eventually ending in her getting caught. However, she'd manage to escape before being deported and steal one last time before stowing herself away once more, and she would keep one of the amulets she stole, one she keeps to this day and believes has some good fortune, even if she knows such notions are silly. Once the second ship she stowed away upon docked, she'd find herself in Pren Gwyn, and would work slowly on getting money, which naturally she'd do through the way she knew best. However, after some time, she would meet a man named Shun who she would grow quite fond of, and after some time with enough money open up a restaurant named the White tiger of the West, or Xīfāng báihu, though she'd soon use it as a front for various other more...illicit businesses as she expanded her empire as it turned out that her restaurant struggled at first. And while her restaurant would get a profit as she learned, so too did her more illegal business, expanded later on by the purchase of a pharmaceutical's store. And, while she'd use plenty of funds to aid the local Asian community, she also would use those under her for less legal work to enforce a bit of...extrajudicial form of protection against other groups of organized crime...In part, due to her efforts, Pentrefsiapaneaidd is what it is now. Yet, this wasn't exactly enough...

Name: Vinod Ashtekar
Gender: Male
Appearance and Background: Born in India, Vinod and his story is mostly unknown to us until they arrived in Pren Gwyn, and Pentrefsiapaneaidd. Initially, they worked as a mechanic, surprisingly enough. Anyone else would say he worked hard and eventually managed to save up enough money to buy themselves a nice car which later they modified as a bit of a passion project. But in reality, they had always done a few jobs on the side of their main work. Often in the transportation of any illegal goods, no questions asked, followed by what made his passion for mechanics second in his mind. Racing. While he still would work on the transport of illegal and stolen goods, his focus became that of racing, and even at times working as a getaway driver. Regardless, he has gained the ire of some due to his lack of loyalty to anyone in any sort of gang conflicts and instead working akin to a mercenary who got hired by four gangs in particular fairly commonly, and he knows this. Still, as long as he has his car, he'll be safe.
He has tan skin and short, strait black hair and brown eyes, and commonly wears casual clothing along with sunglasses when driving, so long as it's not night.
