Vinod partakes in Operation Bangarang itself. (Outlined Below)

Operation Bangarang:
The target of Operation Bangarang is Bryn y Gorllewin Bank - or more accurately, the money being withdrawn from it. Squad B embeds itself in the bank and immediate area for surveillance and overwatch. Squad B's first task is informing Squad A of unusual activity that would indicate that the money has been transferred, and again when they see indications of the withdrawal having occurred.

Squad A, with Vinod as their driver, are to intercept the vehicle containing the cash at the first opportune moment, whether it be a natural moment forced by a traffic jam or one caused by aggressive offensive driving on Vinod's part. Squad A should deal with any security in a rapid manner then move to offload money into Vinod's vehicle. Should his vehicle become too damaged to effectively drive through the streets, Vinod and Squad A should seek to "acquire" a nearby vehicle with enough space for the Squad+Vinod and their gains.

Meanwhile, Squad B will hit the safety deposit boxes in Bryn y Gorllewin Bank. Stealth and speed are paramount, and Squad B is instructed not to get too greedy since they're just netting extra goods on top of the primary target. Once they've accomplished their objective of attempting to loot the safety deposit boxes, Squad B is to scatter to the winds until heat dies down enough for them to regroup and rejoin the rest of the crew back at headquarters.

The Outside World and Previous Actions

In Nemorland, further unrest seems to have been somewhat delayed due to there being a hung jury in the trial. Despite this controversy it seems that the New Clear Visionaries are still gaining members due to their so far peaceful activities and the actions of a so called 'Caladrius' saving people and lives. Partially related to the Caladrius situation, Sothweg has announced a new 'heroes of the red banner' program, which is believed to be a metahuman program related to their police force or military. Additionally, a new explosive newspaper seems to have started to be published, mainly shedding light on a major sandal involving the third son of Pren Gwyn's current prince, activities involving Schwarzes Holz's intelligence agency that go against the law and abuse it's loopholes, and reporting on the new and first 'superhero' of Nemorland. Due to the...nature of it's reporting, many in the governments of Pren Gwyn and Schwarzes Holz are none too pleased and are trying to get it shut down... Somewhat fittingly, a new news broadcasting station has started operating in Schwarze Holz as well, though far more government aligned than the recent newspaper. Lastly, a major robbery occurred in Pentrefsiapaneaidd. Details are sketchy, but it's believed that at least 5,650,000 in cash was stolen. Other than this everything else related to it is tied to rumors.

Project: Sneaking Suits

Work on the Sneaking Suits project has continued slowly but surely. A viable synthetic material that shows a lot of promise has been found to be quite good at reducing noise emission provided one isn't stepping on creaky wooden floors, even when running, and a number of solutions to the bullet resistant weave have managed to pop up, as are those of fireproofing. Still, the biggest hurdle to the project still remains out of grasp so far is the ability for it to disrupt camera's. But we still have time, and we are getting close to it's completion. Perhaps something could be devised from it all, but regardless there isn't too much longer to wait thankfully.

Engagement: Operation Payday

With the date of a sizable withdrawal practically to our choosing, we have a bit of time to prepare for the transfer. Of course, we have measures in place to...disappear one of the workers at the bank through one of our syndicate's enforcers and frame them so as to make a further alibi for how the date of the transfer was found out. Regardless, the money the bank looses will easily be replaced by their insurance, and it won't effect anyone's accounts. Still, Vinod is quite excited, and the new teams are prepared in time for the date. Watching the roadway's, Vinod would soon find the armored van, and waiting for the right moment, he'd make his move.

(Vinod+5 Master Theives VS 2 Armored Van Guards.)
Spoiler: Dry Report (click to show/hide)

Driving recklessly into a red light at the right time, Vinod is able to force a poor civilian to swerve and crash right into the row of cars next to where the Van was, essentially trapping the thing with only a small gap large enough for only a small golfcart to fit through. Naturally, in the process, Vinod doesn't so much as scratch the paint. Swiftly after this a number of angry drivers would get out of their car and start yelling, but this distraction would easily allow the thieves to blend in and get closer to the van, and even get close enough to be by the doors. But as they drew their weapons the guards seemed to catch on and opened fire, getting a few rounds into the thieves before return fire was delivered harshly on them. It took a few bullets, but the tempered glass wasn't able to withstand this, especially given the damage done to it by the van drivers. After being shot, they naturally panicked and were fairly easy to dispatch, and the gunshots swiftly got all the nearby people to disperse. Swiftly after this, they would unload the cash and 'borrow' a nearby car to unload the money on once Vinod was full and to further speed up the unloading process, and after that they were away. Luckily, due to their swift speed and execution, they wouldn't get caught and manage to avoid a police chase entirely, especially thanks to Vinod's fake id plates. Ironically, Vinod was a bit disappointed that there was no chase.

Meanwhile, the other team made their way into the bank itself, and attempted to sneak in to hit the safety deposit boxes...

(5 master thieves VS ? Bank Security)
Spoiler: Dry Report (click to show/hide)

The robbery of the actual bank went a lot more messy than the van robbery. Going in through a back entrance and after dealing with a guard, the thieves managed to get the bank manager and bring them to the vault where in they had to fight another guard in a fight that resulted in a few injuries and a fair bit of noise which raised an alarm. Worse, not realizing this and continuing to focus on opening the bank vault, they didn't notice the guard who arrived after they had dealt with the one at the vault until it was a bit late, and that guard even managed to get away with his life. Still, they did manage to get into the vault and take the money from a number of safe boxes, but the amount they got compared to the van itself was small. Despite that though, the threat of a hostage situation combined with the divided attention they had to have likely allowed for both our forces to make their getaway.

Vinod and the thieves have gained 6 million $ for their robbery this round!

It is currently the Project and Research phase.

You may at this moment in time describe and start one project which you would like to work on. The full effects of a project will be known upon completion, and the price and time of a project will be known once it is started. Do note that once you start a project, you do not need to work on it in the deployment phase, though electing not to will not advance it closer to completion. (Also please don't forget about the bonus you still haven't used yet)

(Not sure if this first one is possible, since I know there's a preset pool of heroes and shiz, but just in case. This might also be more of a plan for the deployment phase, I'm not 100% on how recruiting is actually gonna happen if we're going for something more specific than "recruits doods")

There is talent among our ranks. We acknowledge this by taking the most skilled of the Master Thieves and bringing them on board on a more permanent basis as a proper Villain. Background checks and interviews are performed to determine who in our employ is the greatest among them, and could prove to be a most valuable strategic asset.

Scrap-Happy Auto Mechanic

The Scrap-Happy Auto Mechanic (SHAM) is a totally legitimate gas station, automotive workshop, and scrap yard between Pentrefsiapaneaidd and Messerbeißer. There is plenty of legitimate business that happens at SHAM. So much so that the employees there are also highly qualified for the illegitimate business that happens at SHAM. SHAM mechanics can strip vehicles down to their bolts, remove any identifying markers, and slap them back together in the blink of an eye, new paint job and plates included. They are also an innovative bunch, and having them aid CALM should provide us with the ability to more easily, ah, "acquire" vehicles with special custom "features".

Countries United National Transportation Services

Countries United is a multinational charity whose intentions are to move humanitarian goods between Pentrefsiapaneaidd, where the business' central hub is located just outside of the city, Hamati, and Messerbeißer (currently). Countries United provides food and clothing to the needy, and has experts in the various nation's laws and localities to assist in any legal and housing matters. All donations definitely go to funding their benevolent operations.

It is also a cover for an international smuggling operation. Illegal goods are transported in the occasional shipment and brought to the appropriate markets where they can be sold or bartered for for a profit. Goods are transported by land, sea, and air in order to get where they need to be. The proper palms are also greased to ensure steady and reliable transport. These smuggling routes also double for a means of moving people around unnoticed, should that be required for some reason.

Secrets Prototype Endemonisasm Engineering Department

The Secret Prototype Endemonisasm Engineering Department(SPEED) brings together the best and brightest in our country to develop our military's next generation of hardware. From planes to hovertanks, we do our best to develop new methods of transportation, warfare, and support. Naturally we receive funding from the government from this, but it's also used to develop new vehicles for our operations in addition to access to top-grade weaponry and support gear. All technically legal so long as we keep up with supplying the government with new toys to test and keep them happy. This thinktank shall SPEED along our country's development both on and off the field. [Our work on the sneaking suits at least gives us multiple avenues of research to tempt them with, so long as we don't offer said sneaking suits till much later on.]

Project: Scrap-Happy Auto Mechanic

Initial Rolls: Initial Rolls: Time (5) Cost (2)

The legitimate business of Scrap-Happy Auto Mechanic is something that by the very nature of it's work instantly caught Vinod's eye the second the setup was started on it. While the plot of land that was bought is a fair bit away from the city and not too far from the border between Pren Gwyn and Schwarzes Holz, it's completely empty. Luckily, a small gas station and auto shop doesn't need too much time to build compared to most buildings, though it is fairly costly, not only in the payment for the land but also all the construction work, tools, and materials required for the business. On the bright side chances are it'll make Vinod very, very happy and allow him to have greater tools to tune up his ride. After all, the license plate trick he has only works once seeing how it basically flips the plate 180 degree's and allows the plate bolted behind it to be shown instead. Still, it'll be useful for thievery teams that don't have the luxury of Vinod's car, and also probably allow us to get some basic civilian vehicles and tool them up while also granting an easier time for the more specialized vehicles like Vinod's.

It is currently the Deployment phase.

You may now assign a character to either work on one of you projects, recruit more villains into the fold, move to another city, or lastly engage in the world for one action or another. In the case of the latter, it is best to devise a plan. Otherwise, they will simply do more generic actions that fit their character. (You also can pick one action to progress by two ticks instead of one, considering the whole Vinod thing. I'm still giving it to you, so if you want you should use it now or later. Please announce if you plan on using this, or if you want to save it in the vote box so I know for sure you didn't just miss this)

Plan: More Dudes

Feng finishes the Sneaking Suits

Vinod recruits a new villain from among our professional thieves, looking specifically for someone who stands out as useful on the strategic level. He should expend 7 favors and $5 Million to buy the thief's loyalty.
