Well, without tropes, ship combat does get a bit repetitous. We should invoke tropes more often. I'll try next turn if i can.

Yeah, I honestly think that this game really might do better with Tropes being used much more often. They add flavor to the types of things people can do, and are more interesting then just saying things like "I evade the torpedo".

The downside, of course, is you have to go to TvTropes to look them up, and that can be a bit of a rabbit's warren to get sucked into.

Bit of a general RL heads-up: I am planning a move, not sure when but soon. I'll probably need to go on hiatus for a week or two.

ALRIGHT, things are coming together with my big move. My attention needs to shift for a bit on packing and moving boxes. There will be a hiatus for at least 3 days (but even that is being super optimistic). I...wish this was coming all together at a better time gameplay-wise. Both threads will remain open. But maybe just use the OOC.

Wish me luck, and hopefully we will be back soon.
