When I first posted e2 part 1, I had Enforcer listed at a lower rank, but decided to bump them up to #2 by default.

I did this because MMM played for what would be equivalent to about 2 1/2 episodes on Tribe, which makes them the most experienced.


Also, making Ex-Pilot #3 by default because in-verse they are the most experienced and know the most about this gang and space battles in general.

I was hesitant to do this as they are both new crewmates but in the Captain's absence this makes sense gameplay-wise.

Just making sure. People are clear they can do something other than what a higher officer commands them to do, yes? (This is meant to give AFK players the ability to be useful.)

There was some players that were busy in RL, and some things I could have communicated better to them regarding role based intel.

Because of this the option to an extension will be free and not cost extra supplies. (If the mission is shortened I may give bonus supplies instead)

This means the episode will likely last atleast an extra week, since an extra turn is free.

Just a reminder that even the lowest ranking crew can command everyone else, until those commands are contradicted by one holding higher rank! Or the individual players declare their own action.

I'm thinking I'll continue the evolution of "active captain" and "marshal" and do away with the roles that spawned them. So if the Enforcer and Captain players are still around, we'll keep their portraits, but assign a new role function.

MonkeyMarkMario has expressed they were busy last week, but also that the ship combat is boring, they are welcome to continue but we might not be seeing them.

Well, without tropes, ship combat does get a bit repetitous. We should invoke tropes more often. I'll try next turn if i can.

a1s informed me that she had wanted to continue, but has personal matters that come up that require her to step away. I've informed her that, if she still wants to, we can work around that.
