Since mounts/dogs count as companions, will I not get bogeyman?

I got a horse, does that mean I can sleep freely without fearing the bogeymen? Because I think when you have companions bogeymen don't appear. Is it the same if your only compaion is an animal?

Since I already made a thread, I have another question, I can't sleep in settlements. Not even in my own hometown. I ask permission too, but the game still says I can't sleep. I only tried to sleep in human forts tho, maybe you can't sleep in human forts?

Since 0.47.01, bogeymen only appear in some evil biomes.

Some sites are buggy and can never be slept in.

And, yeah, human forts are one of the buggy types unfortunately. Even if it's your home.
