The Actions of the gods
Amon's Church: - 10
Rising forth from the red-soaked earth on a plateau of the Forsaken Lands, the giant twisted Church of Amon appears; its outer wall are caked with mud, slime, and overgrown thorny vines. The building itself rises to be almost 200 meters in height a towering spectacle, much taller than any structure or hill the Amott have ever seen. The mortal Amott nearby flee in raw horror as this abomination rises up from the muck. Slowly, they cautiously return to it, and begin to appreciate it's twisted and corrupted form. Entering the church, they see it's inside, and are impressed by how it has been so twisted, as Amott's nature is to appreciate corruption. The twisted statues mean nothing to them, as they have never seen a god, and the eldritch words are unintelligible to them, but the Amott are impressed nonetheless. The group that saw the church rise from the ground have taken up residence within it's corrupted walls, using it as a communal home for their tribe. They call themselves "Harakur", which in the Amott language means "Sacred Keepers". A single Amott man, Galsh, leads this group, claiming to be able to understand the eldritch words on the cross. As of yet, he has not revealed to his fellow Amott what the words say. Unfortunately, there is nothing in the church that guides the Amott to worhsip Amon...
Amon's Hatred of Raw Food: - 7
The unspecified and generic Amott that Amon has approached indiscriminately have taken the advice of Amon, and have begun to believe that this twisted and corrupt deity has a hatred for all things raw and unmodified. Thus, they begin to prepare all their foods in as transformative a way as possible. They spread this teaching to other Amott, and since cooking increases the nutritional benefits of most foods, the knowledge spreads like wildfire. Many Amott simply take the knowledge and leave, but there are quite a few who begin to wonder about the mysterious deity behind the advice. So far, they know of no way to worship him...
Egekay's Revelation to Humanity: - 4
The spectacle of a giant, smooth, floating rock with strange words carved in it, booming it's voice outward, has terrified Humanity on several islands, that were in visible or audible range of Egekay's revelation. In horror, they cry out, afrighted that the great rock would crush them. This has caused a mass evacuation of two islands, where the populations have fled via makeshift rafts and other crafts to other lands in Sedef, in order to escape the great crushing rock. This has in turn caused several conflicts to arise on the islands they moved to, as the native populations were not exactly willing to share their turf. The resulting battles have not done much to aid the population levels.
Egekay's Monolith: - 8
Rising up from the sea, Egekay's monolith draws much less fear from Humanity, as it neither moves nor speaks. After eaving it alone for almsot two months for fear it would crush them, a group of humans apporaches the monolith, reading it's portents. They see great value in the words of the Monolith, and as it is labelled as the word of Egekay, they give Egekay, the Rock-god, credit for these laws. This tribe, the Agwanda tribe, has set up their village near the monolith and bagan to farm the land nearby. They refer to the commandments often during local disputes, but so far, they do not believe these laws apply to humanity as a whole, but just to them specifically. They treat Egekay as "The Agwanda god".
Strum creates Cloud Iron: - 3
Strum's hand pulls clouds from the sky and begins to mold them into what he desires; however, he made a critical micalculation, as the mass of Cloud Iron ends up being a bit too heavy for what he had planned. Sticky webs of cloud Iron float down from the sky, and Strum watches with an emotion that is a mix of humor and surprise and these strands of Cloud Iron tangle up the wings of a travelling pack of Pluck, causing them to plummet to their deaths. Cloud Iron strands are firmly stuck to the flesh of the Godstree, and are everywhere except in the clouds.
Strum Creates Black Pearls: - 8
After his failure to create a metal in the sky, Strum plummets down to the depths of the sea. Here, his plans go much better, as it is dark at the bottom of the sea, much like his own darkness inside. The vents he creates and the black pearls that are sent up are noticed by the Plunk, who dive deeply in order to pick up the Black pearls in their webbed hands. The Plunk are unsure what to do with it at first, until they expose the the fresh-water sap of the Godstree. They quickly realize what must be done, and they make small trinkets out of molded Black Pearl. One clan of Plunk, the Roet Clan, has mastered the craft of Black Pearl molding far better than other clans, and has begun to use their molding expertise to trade with other clans for food and other raw resources.
Etaf and Hiliel: [Result Empowered] - 11
Hiliel accepts Etaf's offer, and chooses life, bringing news of the spirit Etaf to her tribe. The tribe begins to venerate Etaf as a god of dilemnas and difficult choices, as well as a god of pacts. Hiliel acts as a prophetess in Etaf's name, and soon becomes the leader of her tribe; in part this is due to her hunting and combat prowess, and in part it is due to her knowledge of Etaf, being the only human to have ever seen him. Hiliel's tribe has begun to call themselves "Chobak", which in their tongue means "Chosen". Due to her immense popularity, Hiliel is the desired mate of many men in the tribe.
Daros' gift of Magic: - 10
The tribe that Daros approaches, Garalam, takes his words very seriously, impressed by his outfit, which is made from a material they are astounded by, it being smoother and thinner than furs, but seemlingly more durable. They begin to practice the magicks that Daros' has given them, teaching their children these abilities as well. The spells give Garalam an edge against their foes. They fight against a tribe named "Agwanda", which claims to have it's own god, some kind of rock god. Powerful warriors cloak themselves with spells of concealment, and ambush Agwanda hunting parties, slaying many of their number in Daros' name. Garalam has begun to trade their magickal services to other tirbes nearby aswell, raking in valuable resources in exchange for healing wounded or sick members of nearby tribes. This has made Garalam a rich tribe as well as a powerful one.
Daros' gift of Poetry: - 8
In the tribe of Garalam, Daros finds a man who has his livelihood in the craft of carving beautful totems and trinkets. This man's name is Jarush. Daros gives Jarush the ability to speak words in such a flowing and natural manner that all who hear his words are entranced by their rythym and cadence. Jarush begins to teach this ability to other members of the Garalam tribe, with modest success.
