Player Characters:True name: Acter Nobody
Traits:
+Tinker: Nobody is skilled at making things, usually mechanical in nature.
+Precise: Nobody is rather good at precision, whether that means putting pieces together without error, shooting a bullet through the bullseye, or saying the words of an incantation without misplacing or mispronouncing a syllable.
-Emotionally Inept: Nobody is... rather bad at reading emotions from nonverbal cues. Why can't people just say what they're thinking?
Name: Acter Nobody
Character Description: "The Sketchman". The bare frame of a humanoid. This is Acter Nobody, clad in a black coat and clutching his shovel-staff. This is Acter Nobody, god of improvement.
Deific Abilities:
Inspire Progress (125): Acter blesses a population of mortals, causing them to become not only more capable of making new and better things, but also more willing to. New inventions may be made, governments may develop or change, even individual people will find it easier to work toward their personal goals.
Construct Artifact (75): Acter makes an artifact, a magic item of notable power. They can have a myriad of functions, such as allowing the wielder to cast certain spells or increasing the fertility of a field.
Spatial Translation (50): Acter sort of "glitches" through space, teleporting to a different location. This is useful for a variety of things, most notably getting around quickly and avoiding attacks.
Create Organism (50): Acter, well, creates some new organism. Not a lot of them, but enough to start a species without dying off immediately.
True name: Aiunara'narae Plex
Traits:
+Resilient: Extremely tough and quick to recover, physically, emotionally, and in every other way.
+Aware: Highly observant and perceptive.
-Mild: Offensive power is somewhat reduced.
Name: Aera
Character Description: Incarnate of wind, Aera is a Demi-Goddess whose mercurial presence is as expansive yet fleeting as the wind itself. A bringer of both gentle breezes and stormy weathers, she often travels the land in the form of a maiden in a blue and white dress, opting to disappear into a flock of doves whenever she feels like it.
Deific Abilities:
Air Magic (25): Can control the wind in basic ways, such as creating gusts, pushing objects around, lifting and carrying things with the air, etc.
Climate Control (25): Can slowly change the temperature and climate of an area.
Physical Manifestation: Shapeshifter (25): Can take the form of a human or human-like creature. Can look like however she chooses, though all tend to be somewhat feminine in nature.
Omnipresence (50): Can travel to anywhere in the world in nearly an instant, appearing and disappearing in a flock of doves.
Bird of Prey (50): Summon a giant pterodactyl which can be controlled.
Winds of Prosperity (50): Evoke a magical breeze that greatly promotes natural growth in the area and brings peace and wonder to the land.
Tempest (75): Evoke a devastating storm to ravage the land, destroying all in its path.
True name: Lys
Traits:
Titanium Affinity (A certain affinity for the element. Helps with finding it, building things with it, or conjuring it with magic.)
Friendship (Helps with making friends, and with assisting them.)
Unassertive (Prone to bending to authority. Can be easily intimidated or even mind-controlled.)
Name: Lysirithanth
Character Description: She is a large, bulky humanoid comprised entirely of titanium. She looks entirely like a human bodybuilder, but several times larger and with a monochrome metallic sheen covering everything from toes to eyes. Would have trouble fitting indoors.
Deific Abilities:
Strength (20): (Very strong, though not to an absurd degree.)
Immortality (280): (No hammer can crack her, no blade can cut her, and time will not weather her. This might prove a problem if she gets a mountain dropped on her, but otherwise it's pretty sweet!)
True Name: Max
Traits:
Isolated (-). Cannot exchange information, or skills or abilities between incarnations, and is unaware of alternate versions of himself.
Self-Contained, (-). Poor at manipulating external forces or energies, such as magic.
The Rock in the Stream. (+). Less affected by extrauniversal forces and creatures from other worlds. Can view them as local events/creatures/things instead.
Name: Max
Character Description: A lone human that looks suspiciously ordinary in any context. Without context, looks about mid-thirties and has plain brown hair and eyes. Recognizable by wearing advanced footgear and a prediliction towards trenchcoat analogues.
Deific Abilities:
Adaptation (70): When doing a task or facing a situation, Max will slowly adapt to it and eventually find a solution, be it simply enduring the condition or taking deliberate steps to fix it. The power takes a long time, but he is fully capable of digging a home in a mountainside with his bare hands, or chopping down an entire forest one tree at a time, or constructing a castle in a swamp that falls down a dozen times before standing up once. Any problem, from parting the ocean to finding true love, it just takes time, effort, and a lack of interference.
This is naturally aided if materials, equipment, and support exist, but these just make it significantly quicker, easier, and more effective.
Do note that abilities developed in the course of a goal do not last forever. While not immediately discarded after completing a task, they decline in power at about the rate they developed in the first place.
Divine resistance (20): Max is less affected by the actively used powers of others, and his adaptation ability is capable of eventually overcoming such resistance. This isn't nearly strong enough to protect him from deliberate attacks or the feedback of powerful abilities, but it is enough to prevent him from accidental death, as well as allowing him to eventually conquer things such as fallout from divinely-powered nukes or bindings of deific will.
Subsidience (10): Max can actively hide his presence from observation. This can be used in a variety of ways, such as hiding, appearing unimportant or signature reduction in the case of things like power observation powers. It's potency is inversely related to how long it is sustained for.. if maintained for a minute or two, it's quite powerful, but it only has a minimal effect if sustained for hours.
Note: This is not a GM Error. This player has made a deliberate choice to start with less points than normal.
True name: Salem Monroe
Traits:
Heroic: Salem stands to protect the innocent, defend justice, etc etc. His heroic willpower gives him bonuses when he's doing something heroic.
Unbreakable Will: Across the multiverse, all Salems are a bit harder to kill than the locals simply due to his blanket refusal to die. Bonus to health or defense.
Poor Magic Talent: Something about Salem's existence just doesn't mesh well with all known and presumably unknown systems of magic power. Or God-powers. And occasionally their technological equivalents. Short version is while he is capable of using the local magic-equivalent, he does so at a penalty.
Name: Salem Monroe
Character Description: A young man clad in shining knightly armor with ammunition pouches around the belt and a machine gun on his back. Dark hair and green eyes if he ever gets his helmet off. Physically fit with an over-muscled demigod physique if he ever gets the rest of the armor off.
Deific Abilities:
Nullify (100): Salem has never been good at using powers. Nullify levels that playing field by blocking someone else's power. When Salem invokes Nullify, it shuts down the specified enemy power of near equal strength, shuts down multiple weak powers of lower strength, or gives penalties to a stronger power. If he uses Nullify again, it removes the previous Nullification.
Enhanced Body(100): While most demigods have higher-than-average physical abilities, Salem takes this to the next level. His strength, dexterity, toughness, senses, disease resistance, and every other trait you'd expect his human body to have are increased to divine rank, allowing him to take on foes personally.
Enhanced Equipment (50): Notice how he doesn't fight naked despite theoretically being tougher than his armor? Salem has an aura that increases the power of any mundane (or weaker non-mundane) equipment he uses to make it viable for high-impact combat. His personal equipment all gets powered up so he can stab someone with a sword without said sword spattering into a million pieces from the force, his projectiles go fast enough that they can't be casually dodged, and his armored is hardened to the point it doesn't explode from simple flexing.
Iron Will Manifest (50): Here his refusal to die takes physical form, allowing him to shrug off lesser blows, snap broken ribs back into place, and survive what should kill even him. In short its a defensive buff with some healing on the side.
