Use stone to seal up the voidhole we dug.

Those white dots might be threats. I'd like to move to a room near the end of the tunnel, after plugging it, but we don't know how much mana that will take, or how to recover it.

I think our short term goals are to figure out mana recovery and increase it to sustainable levels, defend ourselves, and get airtight doors. If doors aren't allowed, then I think we'll have to either block the holes with slimes, redesign everything in our ecosystem to not need air, or find something that automatically creates air.

I'm not sure we can afford the mana cost to plug the holes yet, the air is already gone, and we can create more later.

Create a slime to guard the core.
Don't create more stone to plug the hole yet. Create 1 mana's worth of stone at the northern hole instead, to see how expensive it will be.

Couldn't we plug the hole with one of those brown things that kind of look like tree trunks?

Why not, if we can put a rock in there we can put one of the brown things in there.

Check to see if the local area is air tight to the void outside?

Lets not make air and just let it float away.
You take this voice's advice and take the first simple test that comes to mind: You create a 'unit' of air, the air quickly spreads until over the area until you can't notice it anymore.

Use stone to seal up the voidhole we dug.
Those white dots might be threats. I'd like to move to a room near the end of the tunnel, after plugging it, but we don't know how much mana that will take, or how to recover it.

Don't create more stone to plug the hole yet. Create 1 mana's worth of stone at the northern hole instead, to see how expensive it will be.
You decide to follow the second voice's advice, creating one 'units' worth of stone at the northern hole, you feel that a further 4-5 'units' of stone could block off that hole, though you can also feel that the newly produced stone is far weaker then the surrounding rock.
[-1 MANA]

You follow that up by making a Slime to defend your core.
[-5 MANA]

Couldn't we plug the hole with one of those brown things that kind of look like tree trunks?
You aren't sure how you would move those things, your body isn't quite close enough to manipulate them, though you can see them, and from what you can see they seem to be firmly embedded in the ground for the moment.

Let fill the hole the rest of the way with rocks.

Yes, and after that, try to convert the dirt into mana somehow. If we can use mana to create things, maybe the process can be reversed

Prediction: We gain mana from ambient life
Observation: Current mana/cycle appears to be 10

> Fill voidhole completely.
> After filling voidhole, create 5 slimes.
> Examine mana regeneration

+1

Also don't eat the dirt we'll need that for plants and stuff later, also to cover our core.

We have yet to discover any threats, but slimes should help protect our core.
