Tick One: Heaven and Earth
Without so much as saying a word to their peers, many Gods greedily grab Gates. Others take advantage of the laws of time to make an action and then revoke said action, a cowardly act that the others have yet to call out.
Petra begins by attempting to create her own planet for next to nothing. After realizing it will be more expensive than she thought, she immediately covers up the blunder and offers Influence toward the creation of the planet (pretending that was her true intention all along). (Petra -6 II)
Hannah Brings the might of Civilization to Medium Gate B and Minor Gates A-B. The Civilizating process has yet to include naming them. (Hanna -3II)(Hanna+4 OI)
Resol Loses the property of not having control over Medium Gate C, while also Loosing the "who can get the least amount of gates" contest. (Resol -2II)(Resol+2 OI)
The Lock and the Key makes a massive expenditure to claim his goal, faces some resistance, and then decides to do something else entirely since his goals where not really that important anyway. Following Patra's footsteps they place a bribe into the planetary creation pot to cover up their own embarrassment. (The Lock and the Key -2II)
No doubt Hoping it'll be useful, Ezpé joins in the Gate Rush claiming the unclaimed Medium Gate A. All Medium gates have now been claimed. (Ezpé -3II)(Ezpé +2OI)
With an absurdly brief discussion the Gods decide on a spherical planet with vague features. Petra and The Lock and the Key return to the past to promise to fund this project before it was agreed upon. The sensible Goddess Ezpé instead publishes her promise after the design has been made (Ezpé -6II)
Petra attempts to rest control of the Major Gate from The Lock and the Key, who had already given up control of the gate in the future. The Lock and the Key (who had already given up control in the future) then ups their control just so Petra can't have it. Petra doesn't seem to put off by these shenanigans and seems happy with the Major Gate being eventually claimed by someone who wishes to keep it Open. (Petra -3II)
Dakka forces the rules of physics to change at gunpoint, allowing for Awesome things to work more effectively than lame things that arn't awesome. This new addition to Reality is celebrated by a display of firepower/fireworks from its creator, a show that was appreciated by Ezpé. (Dakka -10II)
Trashing the Major Gate, Stiria Chaotically wipes away all opposition for its power turning its surroundings into a Junkyard. This is sure to lead a lasting impression on whatever entities find their way in through this entryway. This elegant gate is the first to receive the honor of a name, Minor Gate, a name certain to cause confusion and Chaos amongst both Gods and Mortals. (Stiria -10II, +3 OI)
Getting a start on home building, Calnoch adds funding to the planet pool while claiming Minor Gates D and E and forming much more picturesque winding gardens around them. (Calnoch - 6II, +2 OI)
Noting a minor shortfall in Planetary funding, Hanna finishes its creation with a donation of 2II. There is now a single unnamed world in the void. Most gates now seem to be on the Planet. (Hanna -2II)
Now with a land suitable for mortals to live on, The Lock and the Key creates its first race of Mortals the Nornals! Being theoretically able to breed with any other theoretical race that should theoretically be created, the Nornals are race of wise (at least as far is it comes to Theology) orangutans with biologically obvious God loyalties. They have an affinity for Gates and will attempt to seek them out for their health benefits and pleasant scent - something that Minor Gate's garbage field ends up negating quite a bit. At the moment they're mostly figuring out civilization in a Gate-less area and setting up a variety of primitive lock-shaped shrines filled with key-shaped offerings. (The Lock and the Key -8II)
Unstar constellations Ikik and Kiki don't unappear in the sky above the still unamed planet, no thanks to Ik! This is very unconfusing to the Nornals who know all about Nothing. This is also ironically the closest thing the planet has to a sun right now. (Ik - 2II)
----GATE ACTION----
Minor Gate (the Major Gate) opens up and releases a race of Mortals into the Trash pile! They seem to be a race of bipedal ant-like mortals marching in close formation with bronze-tipped spears and wooden shields. They appear to have four arms and two legs, but most of their features are covered by ceremonial-looking bronze armor that exaggerates said features (like extra-long extra-sharp mandibles and super ripped abdomen). From what you all can tell they seem to be an honor guard for a set of eggs kept in a silk-like canopy at the center of the procession.
This race (who calls themselves Pismire, though this is likely their original nationality rather than race) begin setting up camp in the massive trash pile attempting to form defenses around the eggs. Scouts are routinely being sent out both to search through the trash for anything usable and further beyond the biome to less-gross pastures. Unlike the Nornals, they seem incredibly confused and unbothered by the stench.
